One question for the sifus.....I am not really not particular about speed but would like to make sure I can get wide coverage. I will be needing strong stable wireless signals thru my double storey house as well as thru to the next house(my neighbour). In this case, can I just upgrade the antenna? If so, which model? Tks.

I read from the above links IPTV channels will be charged w.e.f 1st September 2010.

I just registered & now thinking to cancel it.

My thought is to terminate Astro with the IPTV but now....

Thanks in advance for your comments.

Thanks

May I know when do you subscribe for unifi? Oh you can use sms spam manager (program for mobile phone) but have to pay. Try google and download if you are desprate. That's how I avoid sms spam.

Channels for Astro is are very different from IPTV. So reason to subscribe Astro would be very different than subscribing IPTV. I'll wait till the pricing been announced to decide.

I don't really watch iptv at all.

But i do think it's a good idea, if they ever bother to add some anime onto it with more selections.

i just use everything supplied by TM.  No extra device, since im the only one using it.  DIR-615 should be more than enough.

But alot of people complain about it.. just want to double check what i'm going to come across when I subscribe to Unifi..

Same here.
Just realized that these 2 channels won't be charged for VIP20 users.

Didn't see it the first time I saw this:

Let's see hw long TM can tahan if they want to collect fees for those pitiful channels.
Don't hv those anchor channels and give u those miserable Hikmah and bernama tv and later on ppl dont even bother to "on" the STB.

For those having wifi issues with DIR615, you might want to try resetting the router to defaults and reconfiguring it. My router stopped providing any network access to wifi clients after some time requiring a reboot to fix, it got worse until it'll stop working less than 3 minutes after reboot. Decided to reset to default and try again, so far after >24 hours wifi is still working properly.

If people don't agree with Kahak, why not just ignore his comment ? There is no need to flame him ;_; Everyone has their own opinions.

Anyway, if their going to charge for iptv, i hope it is possible to unsubscribe to iptv for a cheaper internet broadband.

I know their in the business to make profit, but they sure aren't making any brownie points with their customers rolleyes.gif

Unlimited browsing is a given.

But unlimited bandwidth isn't once they enforce cap.

Meaning for example, if your monthly cap is 60gb per month, after you use that much bandwidth when downloading content, you will be throttled to 250 kbps.

So that is bad ;_;
