if capped it not called INTERNET CALLED INTARNET NOOB TM....better we ask all the other rival ISP to combine for conquer 1 state 1 ISP like PERAK Time BB,While Selangor (SCREAMYX SINCE MALAYSIA GOVERMENT IS IN PUTRAJAYA),1 for Pulau Pinag(Penang Fon FiberOptic 100MB or 1 gb)
Kuala Lumpur(4GB import technology fro korea Japan Too expansive) CycberJaya Same as KL since both conquer by OPPOSITION.BUT U GUYS MUST REMEMBER I TALKING NOT ABOUT POLITIC(SOME MIGHT THINK THAT WAY BUT NO I TALKING FOR THE PEOPLE) SINCE 1957 PEOPLE (RAKYAT) IS ALREADY BEEN FOOLED FOR TOO LONG U CAN ASK YOUR SELF WHEN MALAYSIA WILL BECOME DEVELOP IS GOVERMENT IS ON TOP AND U GUYS CAN ASK WHEN IS WE GET FAST INTERNET NOT INTRANET WHEN OPPOSITION IS ON TOP CAUSE THEM(BOTH GOVERMENT AND OPPOSITION) WONT WORK TOGETHER TO MAKE HIGH SPEED BB. |

i' talking about cap cause once all of TM nuts fiber on malaysia it will turn crap and soon we have HIGH SPEED BROADBAND THAT's not even HIGH and NOT EVEN UNLIMITED CAUSE it's from TM nuts taht wont buy international bandwith and will cause all to go slow and capped and once fault will lead to a vast internet destruction like what happen on the year 2007 on X-mas and earth quick have happen cause whole malaysia INTRANET (Streamyx) to go 0kb from 1 KB's..... CAN u see my POINT NOW??? no one is wrong we all are right cause why?(WE ARE THE PEOPLE THAT VOTE FOR THE WINNING SIDE NOT LOSING SIDE)!!! So please correct me if i' wrong Dont we Vote every 4 year for election but still get crap internet not INTRANET......(INTERNET mean INTERNATIONAL NETWORK) right??? if INTRANET=LOCAL lolz wasting our PEOPLE(WE,OUR MOTHER PAY TAX,FATHER,GRANDFATHER AND GRANDMOTHER)...

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jul 16 2010, 07:50 PM) Yes i am. Was he refering to the default dir-615 ??? yeah that would probably explain why lulz wah u not fan of TM net too? i thought i'm alone like 100% all alone. My router can load many ips at a fast rate. Example i can get a few hundred server ips loaded in Counter Strike instantly @KAHAK I'm not a fan of the tmnutters myself. And I do agree with your skepticism how well Unifi will be after caps are enforced (in particular low monthly bandwidth caps and throttled speeds. I could not get a straight answer from tmnut regarding this.) What is worrying is, tmnut may use the low bandwidth cap to use as an excuse to cap speeds to 250 kbps if the rumors are true However i am sure once it gets enforced and we don't like it, there will be enough waves of protest like what happened at launch in regards to the caps. My modem is also a Huawei FTTH fiber optic modem Is the one in the picture for vdsl ? i go listen to music BB |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jul 17 2010, 08:47 AM) Not to mention, there seems to be less restriction regarding upload, as according to tmnut upload won't be throttled :/ agree with u 100% i support streamyx it's unlimited download and upload. If you are a torrenter, especially to private tracker, maintaining upload ratio is important. This would be a huge difference between streamyx and unifi due to upload performance. |

QUOTE(Moogle Stiltzkin @ Jul 17 2010, 12:01 PM) No no. ohh... may bad i dont know uch... 100% not... i know streamyx only Unifi dont cause dont use UniFI I was actually meaning that Unifi may actually be better since upload won't really count toward bandwidth cap. Streamyx only has 512 kbps upload, compared to Unifi 10 mbps upload So you could argue that 5 mbps unifi BUSINESS package may be the better choice over all Price still sux but at least the performance is better than 4mb streamyx. 10mb and 20mb unifi BUSINESS package is too far out of reach for most of us in affordability Lets just hope that consumer package bandwidth caps and throttle speed policy are revised. PS: When i put emphasis on upload speeds, this is of importance for people who host servers whether it be web server, game server, file sharing (DC+, utorrent etc). It's most especially important for torrenting because the more you upload, the higher your priority is, which is why upload speed shouldn't be neglected. It's especially true for private torrent tracker sites like baka bt, and what.cd that puts importance on upload ratios. It's gonna sux if you got a measly 512 kbps for such private trackers when maintaining ratios. But of course download speed will be the highest priority i know what u mean dont worry Added on July 17, 2010, 3:50 pm QUOTE(iipohbee @ Jul 17 2010, 01:18 PM) Kahak tak yah nak harapkan high speed(BB)bankrupt band TM ni. setuju !!! PERAK 100% lebih bagus!!! Sure bound to phail. Perak can build a more advanced fiber optic which is open to all service providers instead of relying on them to do the job. We need the other isps to team up together to realise this. Jaring, TNB, Time, DiGi, Umobile, Maxis, Jabatan Air Perak, Petronas can build this free open network should they want to. We welcome all world class isps to join the team. Pacnet, Time, Jaring, NTT Arcnet, STT Telemedia via Umobile, P1, DiGi, Maxis, AOL, So-Net(Sony Internet), M1, MSN, etc. All are welcome to provide isp services on this open FTTH network. For telephone fixed lines/VoIP, you can subscribe to any provider and this applies to IPTV/cable tv.ASTRO will be available on cable too. Subscribers would be allowed to subscribed to as many isp accounts as they wish to use freely on the open network and dial as many PPPoE connections as they wish. All subscribers will be given raw 1gbps to every premise including homes and subscribed to as many isps/cable tv/telephone servcie as they please. I really hope to see new isps coming to our country such as AOL, MSN, NTT, So-Net, T-Online, etc. When we have such competition, let's say you subscribe to 2 isps every month, isp A gets very slow, you can disconnect from it and try ISP 2 instead. All these by just changing your username(different @ suffix- i.e: lolyat@isp1 or lolyat@isp2 and password. New fiber networks have been springing up recently. H20 in UK using water pipes to run fibers, and a new method called GiG(glass over gas pipelines) Routing fiber though gas pipes. Petroleum companies are venturing into this new field now such as TUX, Towngas Telecom HK. This post has been edited by KAHAK: Jul 17 2010, 03:50 PM |

DSLAM / IP DSLAM / MSAN / RDSLAM ? no =DSLAM only 50%
MONOPOLY company will NOT provide GOOD service forever! =RIGHT = 100% if u support them they kill u dont support them not internet! Days ago, I saw my IPTV giving Apache Error 500 whenever I press the asterisk button on the remote control. After I reboot the STB, the error is gone. So I guess the must be a way that the IPTV network could be used to surf internet lol. But I wouldn't do it. (SEE THINGS ERROR STARTED!!!!) "cheap USA=DIE TV" My TV at home not even plasma live for 10 year!)=50% |
