I'm staying in Puchong Prima and have been using it for the past week. I've called before previously and there are 2 interchanges.. one is Puchong interchange which is already Unifi enabled, and another is Kinrara interchange which will only have Unifi sometime 2011. So if your line falls under Puchong interchange, you can subscribe now smile.gif

No cap yet.

But from what we know, the throttled speeds will be 250 kbps which would be insane, given that the caps are low, and also throttle speeds significantly low as well.

And add to the fact we are most expensive broadband in the region and you know something is very wrong going on.

Anyway from what the tmnutters told me, there is no daily cap, only monthly cap.

Another user reported that tmnut claims local bandwidth won't be counted towards the monthly cap. Also uploads won't be counted at all toward the cap. Both points makes it fair at least when considering a bandwidth cap system.

The only unfair part is the size of the cap and throttle speed for the asking price we are paying them already. The service may be nice right now, but don't sign up unless you are willing to take the risk when they start enforcing it, or make enough waves that they scrap their plans for it hmm.gif

I recommend you to proceed to TMPoint to apply. I was given the installation date during the application.

call them. There might be chances they did not receive your order in the systems. Ask the customer support your order status. If it is not in the system, you have to re-register with them via telephone.

I register through TMpoint directly. After 1 week, my order is still not in process. They keep the borang don't know where.

I apply @ TMpoint doh.gif
And the female CS keep teasing me by asking silly questions: "you own your house?", "you like drawing?", "are you still student?". Anyway, I think she just want to be friendly, could be part of the new TM policy.

She ask all kind of questions, but didn't give me a date for installation. She said their people will call me.
