3.5 inch screen really takes alot of battery drain when running.

the most interesting feature about Symbian^3 is the virtual app switcher. One downside is that it still needs a long press to bring up the switcher. It'd be great if it had an on-screen dedicated app switcher option

I must say I am impressed with the camera and its video recording quality. However, I am also slightly disappointed with the size and resolution of the screen. I think the pixel density is just not on par with the other touchscreens. Im using samsung omnia II now and I have to say I love the screen so much. I'm not sure the lower pixel density in N8 will be obvious. I am currently eyeing this hp but the screen is the big turn off for me.Please feel free to enlighten me.

Well the screen resolution should be comparable to current N97. They are the same. AMOLED its about how crisp the screen is but sharpnes wise its about the resolution.

u do not need the real phone to be out to know the pixel density...
read the spec u obviously know... for sure.. the N8 is far away from a lot of phone today...

AMOLED.. welcome.. but samsung already 1 step advance from AMOLED.. which is the Super AMOLED...

I was actually aiming N97 kao kao one... but then it never happen by coming into my life after what I've seen when my friend owns it. Now that I'm still loyal to N95, I am having a slight expectation for N8 now. I don't think this will be an Iphone killer (better don't say too soon)... but this time round, it looks more convincing than the N97 tho...

Fingers cross until Q3 of this year... I'm saving saving saving. Hopefully Nokia doesn't make me change my mind into a fruitful phone ohh...

if you are refering to AMOLED helps under sunlight, then no, AMOLED have better color, but under the sun, it's weak..users have been complaining about why it's so hard to see under sunlights..
