well, if u ask me (i own N81Vp), N82Jv seems to be lacking in some of the small detail...

wat would u think if i tell u that N81 and N80 series ve a total of 5 USB ports??? and that these 2 series use C2D T9000 series, which are top of the line dual core of their time...

we dun ve Optimus, but with Asus P4GH, we can still squeeze out more than 3hrs of battery life with WiFi...

Hey!

I just bought the Asus N82, and was wondering where to download the drivers, lol. FOund the NVIDIA one but not sure about the Intel one?

Okay nevermind, found it in a previous post.

And does anyone know what exactly does the Super Hybrid Engine do, and if it's actually useful? Thanks lol. xD

Yes, the cooling system is good that dun feel hot on palm rest even on for 8hrs!

My reason to buy N82JV:
1. USB3.0
2. 2yrs Global warranty
3. Good cooling system. I can feel cold on the Alumminium body!!!!
4. Low failure rate (according to the report)

or else I will get the Dell Studio XPS16 for the similar price range, which have cool product design.

i didn't play any games. mainly for business use.
After updated the Intel HD & Nvidia Optimus driver, no issue yet.
later will try on 3D CAD and CAE software to check the performance.

Added on May 31, 2010, 5:06 pmi just found that if i left my wireless mouse's USB nanoreceiver on the USB3.0, it will hang at boot up. if i remove the nanoreceiver, then it can reboot nicely.
maybe it is conflict of hardware or driver.
Don't have permanent solution yet.
anyone face the same?

RM4999 is for N61. N82 starting price that time should be RM4399.
Now the MSRP is RM3999.
