A little dissapointed after doing some testing . The GC driver look like having some problems. Games such as GTA 4 unable to detect the GT335M even the laptop has switch to it from integrated GC. After some google search i found out that Nvidia Optimus has some compability problem for some games which cannot detect the "powerful" GC

Among the few games i had tested, only GTA 4 has the GC detection problem .

However this is the benchmark from street fighter 4 with highest setting:

what test u want ? i am newbie leh...

The street fighter if u put highest setting and AA in C16XQAA will lag, not that smooth

so far so good .. the problem is the GC driver has minor bug but the problem can be solved by upgrding latest Nvidia driver and also the games problem i mention in post above but so far i only discover GTA 4 having this problem.

May i know how to test ?

Once i open Hwmonitor... the GPU light keep on blinking...maybe the GC dun noe which to use

Since I'm beginner in this type of testing, not dare to test so long and the result may be not so accurate.

Update your Nvidia Driver and intel GC driver to latest version to solve the minor bugs. If u didnt update u will find out your power LED will not change colour even u switch to GT335M.

Power LED will show what GC u using :

Blue---> Intel GC
White---->Nvidia GC

This is how u change the GC by Auto and Manual :

Prefer Which GC to Use ( Will auto change if it detect what the program need, but i think quite buggy since some program it will not auto change)

But u must update ur driver first so that the power LED work normal

According to Nvidia forum PES2010 is another games having problem detecting Nvidia GT335M. They believe this cause by Nvidia driver. Nothing can be done now, need to wait Nvidia release new driver.

I think no problem on switching the GC ... But i never test before so don't know what is the outcome.

My boot very fast... no problem at all...

Did u change the power management to high performance ?

Nope, GT335M does not support DirectX 11
