quite curious on the statement....what do you mean 3G call currently not supported in N900? I though the phone have front and back camera and it's suppose to support video call at least? if not what is the actual purpose of the front camera? erk....

To make your life easy to understand nokia launch the phone without 100% fully tweaked the firmware yet. The front camera is for 3G calls but the software its not tweak properly to function as one temporary until next firmware or until a 3rd party software comes out

hey guys..can someone teach me how to hide files and view the hidden files?

i went to Maemo.org,but can't seem to understand what they're talking about..

all i know is to put "."(dot) infront of the filename..
but,is it done via the N900 or windows?
how to do it via N900?

then,if i have hide those files,how do i manage to view it from my device?

i think mypaint is in extras-dev

how to use it from xterminal?

it is like command prompt in window, but it is linux. move to the folder the file located by

cd <directory>

then, check if the file is there by

ls

then, rename the file by

rename <old name> <new name>

just only after in safe mode, wifi off (screen black)... while try reconnect, it will fail on first time... either reconnect 1 more time or restart the phone would solve the problem.


notice that, n900 after in power saving mode (black screen), some bugs may appeared, like suddenly someone call me up... it keep rotating the screen, portrait, landscape, portrait, landscape none stop ==

still no suggestion on caring/cleaning the n900? or u all dont clean it o.o

i got using matte screen protection, and noreve case (get from lowyat, become super fat...but smell nice yet nice to carry)

for cleaning~ only use camera tool to clean, like blower, cleaning cloth, lens pen (brush) and little dots of water sometime...
hahaha



i think camera tool is the best tool to clean all gadget.

FM receiver is the radio itself so by connecting headset to your phone to act as an antenna sound weird.

Fm transmitter transmit any audio to a FM receiver even video audio.

to do that open the music player and play with FM transmitter then stop the music then open the video player and play WALLA
