Hi guys,

Can I know the price for HD700, HD650 and HD600 in Klang Valley?

From its website, it is a bit disappointed that the HD650 and HD600 freq response do not stated if it is +-3db or more... I guess should be at least +-6 db since it not stating..

In that case, for freq response, seems either HD800 or HD700 only. Is that the case?

Hmm, i realized that HD650 using the stock cable benefits a lot more using tube amp.

whereas for the Symphonica cable, it suits best with solid state amp.

Went to Sennheiser's new shop grand opening today... was smaller than i expected wink.gif

they only had a promo for the PX360 at RM299 which sounded like crap to me.. i think they jacked up the price a bit as well? There was a sticker over the original pricing, with the new pricing set at RM799 which was utter nonsense considering you can get a much better sounding and nicer looking Momentum on-ears for an extra RM20-30..

Hi guys,

I am looking for a budget cost earbuds at the moment. I had Yuin PK2 went damage at one of its earbud recently. I am addictive with the sound quality of Ultimate Ears Triple 10 for few years.

I had done research based on some discussion that Senn MX580 or CX300 which is around my current budget. (RM150 vs Rm250, That's my budget.)

I not sure how much exactly their price out there in retail shop.

My concern is which model above is best closer to Yuin PK2 quality. I don't expect they can surpass UE Tri 10 in terms of sound details. Just prefer something good for isolation at least blocking 70% of exterior noise especially train moving or bus engine.

Clarity of sound detail should be as good as Yuin PK2 at least. I really amazed by PK 2 from the first day i owned it.
Another main reason is i prefer a sturdy cable earbud too. I had more than 5 pairs of earphone/earbuds are spoil either cable or losing sound contact.

If you have any others brand or ideal model which is even better.
Please recommended me.

Thanks guys!

Had heard good things bout the momentum, just had the chance to audition a pair of on ear momentum at Jaben and my oh my why have I not discovered the momentum sooner? I was really amazed at the sound, very fun with great bass, felt that the bass was better controlled compared to my HFI-580 and without the sibilance i find annoying with the Ultrasone, really good for EDM.

Never thought an on ear could sound so impressive, the performance does justify the price tag. Guess i got stung by the Momentum poison haha, gonna get myself a pair soon, but are there any sonic differences between the on ear and over ear version? Thanks

The On Ear version is more bassy. And in my ears, too bassy it's going down the beats road. The momentum to me is just a little little more than optimum quantity for me so it's alright. And I love bass by the way. Nice good bass.

I did own the over-ear Momentum for a few months but sold it later as the cup is a bit on the small side and I also need the money to fund for my Fostex TH600.
I had the chance to audition the on-ear a few times but I do find them a bit bassy compared to the over-ear version.
Maybe it is tune that way as they are meant to be portable and used outside. More bass tends to drown out outside noise so I do understand their thinking.
However, the on-ear headband is a bit on the small side and on my larger than normal head blush.gif , the cups have to go almost all the way down, and it's not that comfortable for me.
So if you really like the on-ear, do wear them for 1-2 hours straight when you audition them and see if the comfort is OK with you or not.

On a different matter, I had the chance to audition the HDVD800 with HD800 at Stereo ION, SG yesterday.

Honestly speaking, I'm not going to shell S$2.7k for this amp to partner it with my HD800.
They don't have balance cable for HD800 so can only audition them single-ended.
At this configuration, I think I got better pleasure running my HD800 from my WA7 amp, at half the price of HDVD800.
