Looks like its better than ur previous CBBID. Updated ur result as second attempt with another CBBID. Year 2004 proc seems quite good compared to the 2005 edition.

As for my CAA2C, I wouldn't be surprised if its able to do 2.8ghz prime stable. I've seen other 0505's and most seem to be pretty consistent

3200+ clawhammer (desktop) is 1mb cache
3000+ clawhammer (mobile/DTR) is 512kb cache

sorry bro but a bit rong there... there are dtr 3000+ that has 1mb cache. like mine

actually the proc can prime stable at 1.65vcore @ 2.5G but since i want to do
burn in a bit i just hit the vcore as max as i could in hoping the chip can reach
high clock with low vcore.

very nice CAA2C u got there. 2.8 prime stable is like dream come true to me.
600W OCZ Powerstream

Hehe 2.8Ghz prime stable is just what i've generalized from other 0505 owners. Well I guess we'll find out soon enough after I get the CAA2C from the post office tomorrow and hopefully the 600W OCZ Powerstream if its available in my area

Yea bro! Just got the proc today and I had to drive for more than an hour both ways to collect it from the warehouse.

I also received my 1gb Twinmos from chinsc today . Only thing lacking now is the PSU. Apparently there's none left in Australia and the next shipment in will be on the 11th. According to them only 25 units will be coming in

Should I go for the Enermax 600W Noisetaker instead? Its about AUD120 cheaper!

mine...not much...but still working on it...mine is CBBID 0504MPMW...it's among the worst i'd guess...dunno why but the temp is killing it...
