Buying Dayi tea is for investment. No doubt it provides good return cause I also sold few pieces recently for RM1K each. Happy!

codyt84 i can't help but to associate your nick to Cody from Lau Char / Lau Chan in Kepong. They are the official distributor of XG in KL at least. Have you find them? As long as it's nice tea, ppl will horde bcos they are quite some speculators/investors here.

alternatively if u r brave enough to order online AND in KL/Selangor, we can share shipping http://detail.tmall.com/item.htm?id=27371988282. This vendor for me is reliable and I order from a forumer called cloud8313 in services board.

Nice tea bought today:

Doesn't particularly look like a 7 yr old tea but taste slightly sweet and very fluid. Can feel a lot of saliva production drool.gif . Not strong or astringent and very typical Lincang tea. Although this is labelled "da xue shan", it tastes far less intense than other smaller private "gu shu" garden.

unbelievable they labelled this "old" tea. only slightest smokiness. it taste slightly sweet already. not expensive and should age well. didn't buy though.

me! but i can only go on saturday between 2-5 pm.

btw, i was as tea-li today. great business there. someone just came with RM 10.5k cash and whack up some boxes of tea. wasn't too nosy and slightly intimidated to ask further. my approx 25kg of puerh only cost 1/2 that much tongue.gif

Hehehe, i haven't reach tht level of spending for tea yet... unfortunately i dun usually drink puerh or liu bao... mainly drink Yancha, so not much reason for me to buy tea in large quantities to keep/invest

wouldn't mind giving it a shot one day though... but since i dun drink those teas that are worth investing in, if tak naik harga, then i just end up with a load of tea for donation lol

i've only ever drink a rm 10 10g da hong pao. bought it at da hong pao petaling street. i like the taste but some how the day after, i feel itchy on the throat and feel sickly. this is exactly the same when i tasted some sample 8 yr old liu an given to me by tea-li.

could be wrong weather/season to drink this. i remember back in feb, my brother gave me some good quality phoenix dan coong. liked it and had no problem.
