but maybe i just need a new light.. sweat.gif

actually, its kinda cool.. simple single stage reminds me of my good old Surefire G2 nitrolon..

anyway, the E10 does heat up fast.. well i was running it with 14500 just now.. u guys stick with eneloops?? unsure.gif

Yeah, I did consider also those 1x 18650 lights. The T20C2 Mk II is in my sights. This will be more for general use. But I'm also looking for a very bright (like above 700 lumens) thrower for distance use, hence something like the Catapult or upcoming S1200.
Thanks for sharing your experience.
*
I don't think the S1200 will be a crazy thrower. Then again, what do I know? I have no experience with the SST LEDs. =D

tint of my brand new Fenix E10 is almost the same with my Fenix L2D Rebel 100....
with 14500 in it, the E10 is a little bit brighter than may L2D Rebel 100... brows.gif

L2D rebel 100 stated 175 lumens at max with 2 fresh eneloops..
so E10 should be at least 180 lumens?? hmm.gif

but let me remind u, this is "Fenix Lumens" we're talking.. so u get the picture  biggrin.gif
*
My est. is 175 lumens for the E10. It is drawing around 1A. =D

I suppose that depends on the reflector design more than the LED itself. Anyway, I did read somewhere that the S1200 might have a more floody beam. hmm.gif Guess we just gotta wait until it comes out and read the reviews.

yea, i'm using imedions. I'm taking fenix advice that the board might not handle the current long. Although the LED can take it.

Nice looking lights. The Maglite XL100 U.I. is really complicated but interesting.

Can't wait for my stuff to reach me. PM sent.
