hey,i want to ask that whether tmnet will send a guy for the jumper issue then only they will send the installer ?jus now i ph 100 the operator told me that my application under process but now they r sending a guy for the jumper issueand after that only the installer will come.is it true?

Intend to cancel streamyx first, cuz its under my bro`s name..

-Cancel streamyx
-Wait few weeks
-Apply streamyx unipack freshly...

Can i just like apply that unipack first, when they come, then only i cancel the existing streamyx which is under my bro`s name? hhaha!

i applied for NEW homeline and i only have 1 telephone line to my house ... i havent terminate my current 1 , but thx to the tm contractor , he straight cabut my current phone port and plug in the new 1 which is Unipack 1....so that i no need to re-wiring a new phone line or terminate my current phone earlier

Oo... Like that u still can terminate the old streamyx account?? I also got a phone line ready there... Might ask the contractor to do so. Hehehe

Added on April 23, 2010, 5:17 pmOh ya... My agent told me can add rm10 for unlimited fixed calls. Anyone can clarify this? Want to add for my mum then she can call me unlimited with lesser radiation too... Compare to celcom 1+5 using handphone. haha

But if apply for new homeline, wouldn't it mean that i am getting another new number?

I am retaining my existing homeline number..
The 30days cool down period isnt necessary, as what i heard at here...

yes , of course can terminate old streamyx , juz walk in tm point .......

Can i do something like this??

1) Apply new homeline+streamyx

2) Transfer streamyx account to old homeline

3) Terminate new homeline

4) Save RM26 rental per month. Haha

i suppose installer is they contracted to outside ppl. while adjust jumper is done by TM themselves?? anyone to confirm this?

i'm not sure whether u can transfer ur streamyx.

use pendrive.. google for tat.. wont void warranty... as u are not meddling with the hardwares..

Here are my journey route from the applicaiton - netbook arrival

9 APR - ReSubmit Application form. (something wrong with the prev application, so have to resubmit again)


15 APR - Contractor came to install the fixed line. Paid RM 30

21 APR - Streamyx technician came to install streamyx and activate it.

23 APR - Got my netbook at 6.50pm. As the delivery man did not know where is my house, so i have to drive out to meet him and get the netbook myself at somewhere.

I wonder why the netbook is delivered so fast. it only takes 2 days after my streamyx activated.

2 days to get the netbook after activation ?
How did they contacted you ? and may i know which stat that u are in ?

yesterday i call HP .they said tmnet havent send my info to them for netbook processing.

wanna know bout ur tm homeline wiring charges , wanna take a survey here . ( already got 1 homeline , and applied new one for unipack )
cause for my case, the tm contractor came to install wiring at my house while i still at class ,
and he asked me got my own cable anot,
and i say no cause i aso dono wat cable is that.
then i ask him how much i need to pay for the wiring to my bedroom,
he say need RM 150 ...i also shock adi ...
den i ask him how bout wiring to my living room only ,
he say RM 80 at first , den i ask y so expensive , then he say RM 70 la ... ZZZ
then i tell him wait me back from school ...
After i reached home i also argue with him y so expensive ...he told me cabling 1 meter rm 5 and the length to my room is 20meter , so total cost to my room is RM 150 ...
BUT 20m * 5 = RM 100 + RM 30 = RM 130 !!!

so i don wan the cable reach till my room and just reach till my living hall and he say need add another RM 40 ...cause the RM 30 wiring only reach till my house roof ...i aso zadao liao ...
at last im pissed off say wan call tm and complaint and ask 1st , tat time he aso pissed off and juz bring the cable and ciaoz ...

When afternoon i went to TM point at Kota damansara and ask the staff about wiring pricing ...i ask her possible cost of wiring till RM 150 and she say impossible ...
she said should be minimum RM 30 till RM 50 ...



Conclusion , i wanna know am i doing the right thing or the price said by tm contractor is reasonable ???
hope ur can help ... not yet call tm to complaint the fella ( cause i dono is he right or wrong ,but he really bad attitude) ....

Just to share my journey.

14 Apr - Submit my application to tmpoint for upgrading my current RM66 package to CoolUniPack 1mbps package. Streamyx was under my name.

19 Apr - Technician came to my house for upgrading and also brought me the wifi modem.

23 Apr - Received call @6.43pm just now and told me that netbook will be deliver to me by tomorrow noon.

b787, i'm from penang.

They never contacted me via phone or email. This morning i phoned to HP and get my order number. then i check on9, the netbook was shipped yesterday to malaysia. juz now a guy phone me (i think he's from tiong nam) ask where is my house. after half hour, he came.

i dunno~ they only offer 2M for me.
and tell me my taman maximum only 2M =.=
i have no idea how to upgrade now.

n i called 100 and ask them
i can upgrade anytime
i kenot downgrade to 1M within 1 year after installation of streamyx =.=

i wan 4M larrrrrrr...

any suggestion??
