bcoz they are too inefficient.. easy bcome hard.. hard bcome harder.. plus diff tmpoints have diff policy and say..

faster way?? get a new homeline and streamyx.. if current streamyx not under ur name. if yes then juz upgrade.. refer to post 1..

Hmm, subscribing for a new line might not be faster. If the contractor delays, then it'll take as long.

The fastest way is to upgrade your Streamyx account (provided it's under your name).

yup... just find the same speed..

9/4 - go apply for upgrade from 1mb to 4mb. da streamyx was initially under my bro's name, and the staff very good. she change it to my name on the spot. escape the cooling period XD
10 and 11/4 - no internet connection. should be due to upgrading..not sure XD
12/4 - technician come for setup and testing. 4mb on the run.
17/4 - should be getting netbook by today, but cause of i changing the recipient, it postponed.
22/4 - finally my netbook delivered to my home and signed by my dad

Nah. I nicked my dad's. His came with an external drive. So, I just use it. Planning to wipe the drive clean and clean install better version, and proper partitioning.

if the streamyx not under ur name and u need to terminate it and wait 30days, and i heard now no need to wait 30days quarantine anymore, because of the hot selling cool unipack.

im using my hometown old fixed line for the new streamyx, can i know that my old fixed like still can make the call or received call o not???

Guys, the technician just came and "installed" my 4mb package yesterday at around 1pm. However, since then I have only been able go up to 512k (my previous package was 512k). New modem (W3100). - This was an upgrade.

The ADSL status states that my connection rate is already 4mb downstrean. 509 upstream. All tests show i'm only going at 512k Is this normal?
