One-tap simple. FaceTime works right out of the box — no need to set up a special account or screen name. And using FaceTime is as easy as it gets. Let’s say you want to start a video call with your best friend. Just find her entry in your Contacts and tap the FaceTime button. Or maybe you’re already on a voice call with her and you want to switch to video. Just tap the FaceTime button on the Phone screen. Either way, an invitation pops up on her iPhone 4 screen asking if she wants to join you. When she accepts, the video call begins. It’s all perfectly seamless. And it works in both portrait and landscape modes.
Front cameraBack camera and LED flash
already in voice call can change to facetime....it is mean also can 3G later on...

@nimrod323, Ah well.. there's always a reason why Maxis can charge a premium and people stick with them, right?!
So any Adelaide friends coming back in Jul after the iPhone 4 launch in AU? Hmm.. but no Apple Store there so might be a bit tricky but thankfully got pals in AU *u know who u are*

QUOTE(nimrod323 @ Jun 8 2010, 11:44 AM) Not true, there will always be two types of user, the Apple user and iPhone user, the first will always use it as a fashion statement, status elevator while the iPhone user fully utilizes their phones to the hilt. I'm sure any brands will have these two groups. But there are some ppl that buy the iphone and just use it to call and sms, hahaha

@angelheart, Y would U want to go manually cut your current SIM when U can go get it the MicroSIM from Maxis?
The main problem with this MicroSIM thing is not being able to 'interchange' the SIM and use it with another phone! *siGh* but ah well, nothing's perfect in the world.

QUOTE(objectifyme @ Jun 8 2010, 01:35 PM) The iPhone is a more consumer-friendly phone. That's why it is not as "open" as the Android. Apple is all about customer satisfaction. thats a reason that i aim for android.. iphone is a nice phone and happy with it.. but i boring with my iphone de and need more customizable phone.. maybe i will wait until july(at australia) and test out the iphone 1st coz i still waiting N1 to be release in australia...

i have a friend who work at a reseller who told me, this girl came up to him and ask how to lock the screen, irony mate hahaha, there'll always be people who seek refuge under the apple brand, to be seen and heard and adored i guess. This post has been edited by nimrod323: Jun 8 2010, 11:52 AM

QUOTE(baby shane @ Jun 8 2010, 11:41 AM) Buying an iPhone has got nothing to do with the software & technology crap. Simply it is 'THE' phone to be seen with, the 'IN' thing. It is just like buying LV bags, going green etc etc come on bro...dont generalise, to a certain extent i do agree with you that IPhone is the in thing to be seen in but not all IPhone users cut out off the same cloth, taking from your context its like saying Nokia are meant for noobs who doenst know anything about phone's, Androids are for hardcore geeks that likes to customise their phones to infinity, Samsung and SE phones are for those fanboys. Well for me at least i got it because it does so many things for me so well compared to other phone's (not that it matters but i have a BB and an Android as well) its my own personal organizer heh...beats of hiring a personal assistant

QUOTE(setoyo @ Jun 8 2010, 11:39 AM) By the way, how much memory will be? iPhone 3g: 128mb iPhone 3gs: 246mb iPhone 4: ? its 256 i believe.. apple can't put too much ram on it coz it consume more power... and thus less battery life...

It is just like buying LV bags, going green etc etc Which century are you from? Are u telling me that the concept of AppStore is not a tech, do you think managing the appstore with 225k apps is simple? Show me another appstore is better than this and show me a phone with an OS more stable than IPhone. Do you think EA Games, gamelorf and many big companies selling big titles like Fifa series, Need for speed series, Splinter cell, Street Fighter 4 and many hundred thousand more only for IPhone because they are 'IN' thing. If the phone is a hype, how do IPhone handle the apps so well. Get your facts right, if you have no idea about IPhone platform, please don't assume.
