Exactly. Meet online also must use online language. Someone here also unscrupulous....pretend to be helpful and nice and used my goodwill info for his contractor to victimized me.

btw, your contractor has been warned for attempting fraudulent claim and services. You know who you are, please dont pakat with your contractor in here to get more funny business for him from other innocent forummers so that YOU could get cheaper renovation. Its not nice at all and thats indirectly cheating ppl.

btw all, this is not about kitchen cabinet fraudulent claim...its on renovation on extension and wet work.

Kitchen cabinet service from this thread has been great and trustworthy

My house renovation in PJ just about to complete. Any advise where would be the best place to get grills done prefereably direct from factory? Thanks

All grills are direct from factory. They all buy steel bars, then convert in their workshop/factory to your window/door/gate size and design.
This is all custom made item.

Hi, recently I'm doing research on grille.
Is powder coated a must? does all the grille supplier do powder coated by default or you have to request for it?
Rough surface and smooth surface, which one is better? I plan to do smooth surface (white color) but the supplier said it will turn yellowish after some time..is it true?

Guys, those who wish to install grilles to their homes, I strongly recommend DO NOT use SMART GRILLE, the company is in Jalan Kapar, Klang. I can say all staffs including the boss (MR. YU) are those who has 'TIDAK APA' attitude after securing your job. I also strongly recommend DO NOT DEAL with the sales person by the name of ZHANG, who has no experience in grilles at all. C
ause I am one of the victim. Before securing your job, everything is possible and promise to fullfill. But time and time again, always given EMPTY PROMISES.

I have had this very bad experience that I wish to share with ALL LYN FORUMMERS.
Untill todate there is still uncomplete window grille in my house. Even though reminder after reminders/went to the factory, spoken to Mr Yu (the boss) is of no use. They will give you empty promise. To be frank, i'm very fed up and chose other contractor to finish the remaining window grille.

He is the same person with PRONEEX AWNING AND GATE SDN BHD.

Guys, i have 5ft x 22ft space behind the house. If i were to surround it entirely wif horizontal flat bar grilles instead of bricking it up, will it cost me a bomb (like, RM10k??)
Main purpose is bcoz i wan to remain dat place airy & wif sunlight as my laundry area. And with a glass roof on top, i guess it will look nice! tongue.gif
I also dont wish to block the sunlight & airflow into my kitchen by bricking dat space up..

(I have a sample picture to show but cant upload it now, hope u guys could imagine it)

Yes, fully agreed with you. Certain items....like safety can't compromised, hence if the grilles can provides sense of security and slightly expensive I think it is fine

Got my grille and gate from Three Kim. Very satisfied with Ivy's customer service. And I believe their price is very competitive too smile.gif.

From my opinion, the grille is ok, meet my expectation. But the fact is they are responsive to your request. Feel free to give Ivy a call. Which i believe you can get their number in the previous post.
