Exactly. Meet online also must use online language. Someone here also unscrupulous....pretend to be helpful and nice and used my goodwill info for his contractor to victimized me.

btw, your contractor has been warned for attempting fraudulent claim and services. You know who you are, please dont pakat with your contractor in here to get more funny business for him from other innocent forummers so that YOU could get cheaper renovation. Its not nice at all and thats indirectly cheating ppl.

btw all, this is not about kitchen cabinet fraudulent claim...its on renovation on extension and wet work.

Kitchen cabinet service from this thread has been great and trustworthy

how to they fix the grille to the window... mine with a small screw drilled at the side of the window.... sometimes it causes the cement to break... at the side... to near to the edge...

I don't think this small screw going to hold the intruder...

How does it done on your houses... pls share...

Just screw? If I'm an intruder i can unscrew it quitely and get in ithink.. I thought they use some plug thing? no? I read it somewhere on this forum itself..you need to read all the pages la..I think WeiKee said it before

do you have the quotation stated solid bar? if got black and white you can confront him but make sure you know 100% how to identify between hollow and solid difference if not they will try to 'goreng' you around the world.
*
when they goreng, you just cut that rusted potion..if hollow they compensate and re-do the entire house grille for you..if its solid you pay for new grille..
if they say rust free even though solid, you pay for that grille that you cut and they pay to rectify the rust for you

I chose the right side one for windows...and left side one for my main door only..

Reason for choosing right side one is, there are more "bars" attached to the sides, so if they need to cut, i guess they need to cut more pieces ...this is just my opinion... I could be wrong...
*
I also choose the right horizontal one for the same reason. The one on the left, if they really want to break in, they only need to cut 4 bars (2 vertical bars top and bottom) and they can remove the entire 'grille' and just climb in. if it was the horizontal bars, they would need to cut more, thus taking more time...

That happened to my Aunt in shah alam, group of them disarm the alarm and came in in broad daylight, held her with parang on her neck. She was hospitalized for 2 weeks because of the blood lost on the cut on the neck. They threaten her and asked for her children apart from money. This was 8 years ago when my cousin was just 1mth old.

come to think of it, it was really really scary..but grille and alarm is the least we should do, and dog would be good too

They managed to disarm the alarm despite not knowing the code? Did the alarm go off?

Nowdays is really bad, even if my alarm goes off, i will let it go until I've checked my house and ensure it's a false alarm....dun really bother if it awakes my neighbours...safety first man..
*
Yup, they disarm it with some device, police said a few house experienced the same thing. This was in section 11 shah alam about 8 yrs ago..they have 2 alarm,1 for gate 1 for home, imported from germany last time, they disarm the gate with device n the alarm for house was triggered, put parangto her neck n threaten her

i just wonder on the left picture. seem high floor also still need grill? or malaysia is really really really not safe even if we stay in the cloud?
*
I think for condos on high floors the grilles are to protect ppl from falling out the big window kua, like climbing toddlers n small children
