i need to buy dslr , which is nikon brand cos im quite familiar with it GUI cos been using D40 before this...

my budget seem around RM2k i guess

model that i interested right now is D3000 & D5000.
i would take D5000 but got tight budget, so mybe D3000
but its function less than D5000 i guess.

my area of photography just people, nature. sometime foods.

so, i need some view from u all.. take D3000 now or wait more times to up my budget and get D5000? n im not in hurry to find dslr anyways

I think the 1750VC u can sell quite close to brand new price. perhaps RM50-RM100 drop meaning at RM1850? however D5000 body.. jan when u bought it should be around 2.4K-2.7K right? u'd definitely be making a lot of loss since d90 body only now is selling for 2.4K also..

if u insist on selling, im thinking perhaps around 1.65K? just my personal view on it..

rm 1600-rm1700 for the body
rm 1700 - rm1800 for the lens
rm 3300 for both

i would maybe market this price

i realise my post regarding why it's probably gonna be around 1.65K isnt there

probably i accidently removed it. anyway, here's the possible reason

considering d90 is priced at RM2.4K now, used 2nd hand body of d90 will probably over 300-400 below market price which is around RM2K. if sellers sell at RM1.8K, buyers who most probably will seek advice from us here will be recommended to topup another additional 300-400 for d90 instead because eventhough buyer is paying extra 300-400, they save money by being able to use lens without built-in motor like 50 1.8 and other lens.

unless the sellers manage to find waterfish who buys without thinking and asking, then on the seller.

u can see as much as u want, the problem is can they sell it a not
d5000/3000 price mostly affect by the d90 price
alot of secondhand d90 seller back away or fail to sell their item.

d way i c it, budget is an issue here & rational decision shud b considered.
if ur ok wt d3000 specs & if it fits ur budget then just go for it. or else u cud wait & save up more 4 d5000.
who knows by d time u hv enuf fundings, price of d5000 will further decrease & u wud hv xtra moolah for other things. eg. good filter & among others.
having said dat, its all up 2u...
