Maps now looks better with more functions... but... but... still can't save locations???

Btw, in Contacts, go to options, you can now enable "SMS only for mobile contacts".

my gosh..just now i went to nokia centre at pj..they said n900 need to order first..then i ask the price,woah!!the price just gone up to rm2600++ due to no stock!!sh!t man..was putting high hopes to get it soon..

I have just upgraded to PR1.2. Now installing all the apps back to the phone. I able to switch browser to portrait mode, but I cant switch the sms page to portrait mode. Anyone know if there any way to switch sms page to portrait mode?

ahhh.. hopefully PR1.2 will be out this month...

Browser to Portrait mode was supported in previous firmware already. PR1.2 just make it better with options under settings. Previously, it was kinda requires some "cheat code", lol

As for SMS, seems there isn't any at the moment, even the Apps Menu doesn't have it. But you can now re-arrange the Apps in the Apps menu. Touch and hold on the screen/any apps, it will go into customization/arrange mode.

whenever you press Shift, the search bar pops up darkens the map in the background zzz

and, upon restoring the backup file, my chromium did not come back... its there in the restore app, but greyed out.

Hi all,

HOW TO REFLASH/FORMAT N900 onboard eMMC and firmware.

Just wanting to give something back to the community. Help me in so many ways. It seems that some users don't know how to format/reflash back their N900 devices to default "virgin" state. This is my own version of doing things my way. How useful ? ... it's up to you to decide. Tested working by me. Took me 3 hrs just to compile just for N900 members.

it gives error... flash 8.0 or above is required... i thought the device is flash 9 loaded?

p/s: using firefox 1.1b

EDIT: the internal built browser works flawlessly though. weird...

EDIT2: nvm seems like after the 1.2 update, i have to get the flash addon again in order to run them. issue resolved.
