Its is still the release candidate version about 3 weeks old by the looks of it. Basically works but seems a few niggles here and there

QUOTE(dasonyeoh @ May 2 2010, 07:27 PM) Yes, it's like a fresh install.Just backup everything, then restore after you've updated. It will ask you to download and re-install all the apps previously you have. Even if you update offcially through Nokia Software Updater, you need to do the same thing. |

Yeah, just backup and restore. After restoring your backup, all your previous catalogues setting will be there. There's an option for Restore Applications; it will list out all your apps previously installed on your N900.

Need to flash manually using Maemo Flasher. You can follow step-by-step from this link: http://maemofanatics.com/how-to-flash-your-nokia-n900/QUOTE(dasonyeoh @ May 2 2010, 08:18 PM) Can directly flash. I upgraded from my 900mhz N900. |

jloi,
How's your phone? Probably you can directly update to this "unofficial release" PR1.2? Follow below steps, you can also flash to current PR1.1.1: http://maemofanatics.com/how-to-flash-your-nokia-n900/ |

QUOTE(Ninja @ May 2 2010, 09:19 PM) Haha, no choice, since this is unofficial. Anyway, it's already available in few blogs. Btw, since the N900 is already available in the Chinese market, possibly we might be able to get PapaGo for Maemo soon? Or if future PapaGo and/or Garmin release a Qt version, then it's most probably possible to install on the N900. |
