Hi all.
Got the N900 for 3 weeks now. Awesome piece of technology. Don't feel regretted in buying it in anyway. Got the AP set though (RM1750). Install additional memory card bringing it to another 16Gb (32+16). Love so much the total 2.02Gb memory to install application. Didn't install many programs on it yet, instead i enjoyed playing around in reflashing the emmc and firmware. Also played with overclocking it to 900Mhz. Seems to be stable. Could feel the difference in speed. Felt a bit warm compared to ori 600Mhz but lastly i settle on overclocking it to 800Mhz. Love all the 'open' facilities especially using 'aircrack'.
It makes my Iphone 3GS 32Gb feel rather small. However, managed to jailbreak and unlock though. Brings these 2 units everywhere i go. 1st unit (N900) for networking (remote networking) and the 2nd unit for enjoyment/entertainment.
On the N900, After running 15 apps simultaneously, could start to see a bit of lagging. Didn't hang whatsoever even after so much abuse. 3 issues for me right now is not being able to use the secondary camera, not being able to use MMS and cannot immediately delete incoming mail. Just last night manage to sync using the new Nokia pc suite 7.1.40.6 and updating my ovi map using Nokia Map Loader (at last being able to ditch the A-GPS). Patiently awaiting the upcoming 1.2 firmware release.
Now looking for a good screen protector and cover. Don't care about the price range as long as it can safeguard my precious smartphone. Can anybody so me theirs? Wanting to see what it looks like before buying. Any recommendations?
