I don't think PR1.2 will come out with potrait mode. I wish I'm wrong. Might come in handy if we have potrait mode for our N900.

have the same thinking way...

well, i really hope this phone do have potrait mode as a choice for us, ppl who stay with landscape, keep on it, so who need potrait, can switch. if can, can select for that, like, menu can still landscape, then can set the conversation part to potrait, virtual alphabetic keyboard applied.

anyway, dream always far from reality, but i do hope 50% what we dream on PR 1.2 can still on track, at least, Pinyin on its way soon...happy.gif

Menu should be possible as it's grid view type, conversations is also possible.

The problem is the Desktop which are very flexible and have no fixed position. Unless they applied grid or fixed position for your Desktop icons and widget (which in turn makes it less flexible), the current Desktop design is not suitable to go into Portrait mode. Those who have experience the Portrait mode bug should know what I mean.
I prefer current Desktop which are flexible and you can design it freely, thus we have unique design based on each other creativity, and previous Ninja's Superb Desktop customization which is possible due to this flexibility.

I use Mussorgsky app. You edit the metadata and album cover of audio files directly from our N900. You can also download automatically and add the album cover from the Internet.

Hello boys, I want to ask you guys since I believe you guys use sliding phones before. Will the sliding mechanism loosen if u always slide in and out? Last time I avoid sliding phones because of this, that's why I always prefer candy bar phones. So do u guys encounter this problems before while using Nokia's previous sliding phones?

I love this phone but I just want a little more feedbacks before I drop a bomb of cash on it, in the mean time waiting for PR 1.2 and the N8. Been using Symbian for 4 years on my N73 and I don't really like to go back to Symbian since it always lag.

I used this phone straight after using N73me...awesomeness!! thumbup.gif

N73 cannot be compared with any other symbian phone...it's known to be super laggy.

I was also scared about the sliding mechanism b4 purchasing this...but I trust Nokia's built quality.
