Watching a youtube video without waiting should be a minimum standard for a connection even as low as 1.0 Mb

lol it really doesn't matter if TM kena boycott or not. You guys boycott then those who DO subscribe don't have to worry about too much users flooding the network.

Anyway you cut it some party is gonna benefit. Btw, those who subscribe early gets to choose the good phone numbers. brows.gif

Well the more people use fiber, the less they will use copper. Streamyx will finally not be congested, and it will be cheaper smile.gif

The upload speeds are scary. They say its symmetrical , the speeds should be 3-4Mbps for upload (assuming you're with thee 5Mbps package). I'll only agree with TM (on imposing a cap) provided that they can give me a good service with UniFi - otherwise there is no point - its back to square

youtubing still sucks.. even with 20mb, im experiencing stuck and buffering. worst, its only on 480p... this is bad news..

I remember last time TM wasn't monopolizing the dial-up market. We had Jaring, and TIME. That was a good time when WE had the choice which service to use. biggrin.gif

seems like unifail isnt a good choice yet.. throttling everything.. wtf.. no point having a high speed, but surfing slow speed.. shitty service..

dont be so sure that with implementation of usage allowances - caps things will get a lot better.

tm only has to provide 70% of the advertised speed TO A LOCAL server as mandated by mcmc. (Source)

with the bar set so low and totally ignoring link performance to the outside world, i have a bad feeling it will be streamyx v2 but with caps.
