The upload speeds are scary. They say its symmetrical , the speeds should be 3-4Mbps for upload (assuming you're with thee 5Mbps package). I'll only agree with TM (on imposing a cap) provided that they can give me a good service with UniFi - otherwise there is no point - its back to square

Stop comparing with SG and MY.

The problem is with our salary and cost of living. Buying an original DVD costs a lot , for instance RM 100 just for an original DVD. Thats bloody expensive and knowing how we think , the money is well spent if it were used for our cars and other things. The beauty of SG is that its a small island , the public transportation is bloody good. So basically you'll be saving $$ on fuel and other stuff which can be used to purchase the stuff

Well if you want to discourage piracy , one of the ways is to start an online rental service or music store or something like that - whereby malaysians can buy legit music at an unbeatable price

I dont mind if its done within the country , makes it easier and reminds me of aussiestyle. Whereby some person would download a huge file and then share it across his wifi ap on his server. Saves bandwidth on both sides , win-win situation. If TM is willing to allow us to do such a thing (provided that they dont count local traffic). A lot of people would start up community sharing , local-based - which again win-win situation for both TM and us.
