if combo 1mbps = RM 50 with no caps, i happily accept it

But they reserve the right to cap it. One month into your two-year contract, they would be well within their rights to impose a cap.

So.... does the stream work? youtube doesn't buffer? what about vimeo? and dailymotion? and metacafe? and justin.tv?

malaysians are just a ungrateful bunch..first they rant about the cap..now they rant about the price..lol..very hard to please crowd..

It is business world and we are talking about price that can justify it or not. If this is a very new technology, paying for the premium is definitely a must because of the R&D. But the technology has been going on for many years where it should not be that expensive, yet TM still give out such a pricing package. This is called drain blood from the people, as many people may ask, why in other country they can get cheaper with higher bandwidth but we need to pay higher and lower bandwidth?. 5 years ago I have been living in Hong Kong for half a year, what I can told you is that even with just normal broadband, they can offer dedicated 6M line with price less then RM100. But look at the situation now, we got fiber optics, yet the price is so high and bandwidth so slow, some more with cap on it. How can we feeling good about it?

The download caps removed is good news.
Now's for the price to lower by 25% - 35% the least.

plz dun give wrong information, read it carefully

it's 'suspended', not 'removed'

Yes, the HSBB broadband is cheap if Malaysia government can invite the foreign companies to provide the HSBB services in here notworthy.gif

However, I don't think this will happen, don't think TM will survive this kind of competition shocking.gif

You know, I know, you do the math hmm.gif

take note, remove and suspend are 2 different word

suspend - halt temporarily.
remove - abolish or get rid of

in this case, TM have a rights to impose cap anytime they like

lets hope the cap amount is 2x more(at least)

"We are paying a premium for technology that offers super high bandwidth, so a daily cap shouldn’t be applied. There’s no value in that; we would be better off with regular broadband,” she said.
