Better than P1 1mbps RM99 with 20G cap...

I think all broadband companies in Malaysia are all crap, slow (1mbps), expensive (RM99)

But compare to P1, UniFi is much much much better than P1 1mbps - RM99 with 20G cap...

Compare to UniFi 5mbps - RM149 with 60G cap...


Not need to bring out Maxis 3G with 3G cap, it is unbelievable little. My experience with Maxis 3G after over the 3G cap, I only get
speed like "56k" compare the faster speed I get from Maxis 3G is 2.3mbps. It is less than 10% from 2.3mbps.......


Price wise, think UniFi will stand out if compare within Malaysia, sure cannot compare to other countries like China and Singapore, it is dirt cheap and
super super FAST...


I also got Astro Beyond, so I don't need the IPTV...

Yes, the HSBB broadband is cheap if Malaysia government can invite the foreign companies to provide the HSBB services in here

However, I don't think this will happen, don't think TM will survive this kind of competition

You know, I know, you do the math

Daily cap is insane, monthly cap is the standard, but I do feel the 60G cap is way too low, at least 120G is reasonable

Still removing the cap is big news and I hope this move should learn and implement by other ISPs like P1, Maxis, Digi, etc, etc

Or sooner and later, we will "potong" the bad ISPs

I have just checked the UniFi website, it is still display the 60G cap for 5mbps package? It seems like TM hasn't updated the site or what they said for removing cap is only for temporary care for all the angry customers???

We have to different of "suspended" the cap or "removed" the cap, suspend is only temporary remove the cap...

Also, for the 60G cap is combine cap for 1 month or daily cap of 60G/30Days???

I will wait and see for the few more months to see the customer respond, remember don't fall the same trap that P1 has


I also doubt about the stablity of streamyx 4mbps, do we always get 80% promised speed like 3.2mbps, can someone share their experience ???
