I have to agree with this.

Don't forget that there is a statement on their website stating "The monthly download volume policy will not be implemented until further notice".

can only terminate end of june. CS said just use unifi until end on june and pay only the same amount as 4mb. after june terminate streamyx then pay the full amount of unifi

Hmm...i think i'll skip on the unifi eventhough it's available at my house becoz:

1) 24 months contract - what if it sucks halfway and i want to cancel? 12 months is acceptable, but 24 months is way too long!

2) Soon to be implemented cap....it is just a matter when, not if.

3) TM trying to push the IPTV thing down your throat. If it's not because of the IPTV thing, the contract period could be shorter and the package price cheaper. This is like the case of the Playstation 3...SONY pushing a BluRay player down your throat at ridiculous price when it was initially launched as a Trojan horse to win the HD media format. In this case, TM push in the IPTV setop boxes as a Trojan horse in order to win the TV subscription war with ASTRO. If it is an optional package, i bet NOBODY will even bother with it. Sure Die, like MITV.

I'll stick to my 4MB Streamyx with no cap limit and a peace of mind. smile.gif... at an assumed 300KB/s for the 4MB package....you can easily download 25GB/day!!! Well, if i can download 15GB/day, i also happy liao....no worry about caps. thumbup.gif

Rest assured that when Unifi bandwidth starts to have caps, so does Streamyx.

maybe when tm sees higher demand in unifi, then they will release it or they will do it as backup plan incase of unifi fail.
