HSBB = fail.
Few days ago Najib say he will deliver "good" news to us. Now VIP 5 cost RM150, I dont think its affordable and the cap should be 100GB or so.

nama lagi VIP package...

Coz our beloved G let them to MONOPOLY. That is sad...

IPTV needs computer to function right? Sweat, how are my computer-illiterate parents are going to watch IPTV then? If TM wants to convince me that this "triple-play" thing works, please consider if IPTV could replace ASTRO or not! And I am not talking about the content yet!

best package is BIZ5 unlimited usage. Only cost extra RM50 compare to VIP5.

Better than Streamyx. Just price and capping problem.

Thinking of getting this package. My area (bangsar) HSBB is available. Don't want the cap so decided to go for Biz5. Now paying RM160 for 4MB. Pay RM199 for 5MB but upload and download at 5MB according to the brochure. Does anyone know if this will make downloading torrents any faster esp if using BolehVPN?

Have already checked at TMPoint DU. Can go for Biz5 try and buy even in residence. Just try at no cost in my house until June or July. Sounds like a good deal to me. Signing up at the store in 20 mins.

we just got screwed again by TM.... and our Singaporean neighbor is going to laugh at us.... Starhub 100Mbps Broadband costs only SGD86.88 / MYR205.319 WITHOUT BANDWIDTH CAPPING.

And the IP TV channels offered by Unifi are mostly FTA (Free to Air) channels, DWTW, Fashio TV, Taiwan MTV, Channel News Asia and etc which you can pick it up via any Satellite broadcasting them for free (using 3rd party satellite decoder and dish of course)

oh sh!t...

looks like someone just come to realize the tv package...

Which is why I said, if they didn't count the local traffic as part of your quota, then it would still be quite attractive. 60GB for international is plenty provided that there are plenty "local mirrors" to handle the data.

In the end tmnet wins, the local backbone we have is incredibly fast and unsaturated, the problem is that our international line is congested worse than federal highway during rush hour. So we can reduce the amount of traffic going OUT, and retain the traffic locally, which is part of the idea behind the national broadband plan in the first place.
*
yea that would alleviate our reliance on the intl line...but i guess its too troublesome for tm to differenciate local/intl bw so too bad for us...

But if they have quality 120gb I wont mind la, like lowest ping, no disconnection, drops and etc.. Will greatly benefit the MMORPG-ers..

What happened when you exceed the cap? drop to 1mbps? or 64kbps like Australia?
Anyone have ping result?

What interface are they using? Optical?
