I used to thought caps are bad, but during times in Australia, at least 80gb internet means that you can really use it when you need it..

Here, 1mbps, load youtube? 10 mins video takes an hour to stream..

It appears that they din really improve the internation connection, it's the same streamyx with rebranding and up pricing..

maybe they should reduce the current streamyx price to let say the 1Mbps to RM30, 2Mbps to RM63, and the 4Mbps to RM90. then they should revise the HSBB package price perhaps the 5Mbps to RM119, 10Mbps to RM149, and 20Mbps to RM199 and remove or increase the cap limit. im sure everybody going to be happy bout it.

this price is ok lah for casual users. consider than celcom maxis wireless BB only gets about 5gb a month. i know, they are not rooted to home, but I've checked and 60gb is enough for casual users that is my family...

not to mention it comes with free tv. it's time we give ananda a run for his money

not for me though, because i know i need a lot more bandwidth for high res videos and downloading games off steam... and the occasional torrents

No wonder TM didn't announce the details of the pricing and usage terms yesterday. Would have cause a huge walkout from the launching 

last time, they didnt reduce the Streamyx package price except for promotion deal

what they do is, they just upgrade the package, & the new upgraded package will take the old price while they introduce new higher speed package

its just like climb a ladder...it means that, if u use 512kbps now, next time maybe you will be upgraded automatically to 1mbps but you will still pay the same amount of bill as before, while 512kbps maybe will be eliminated from TM package...the 1mbps will takeover the old 512kbps price...

so, i think it wont be any price reduction, except maybe for special promotion
damn lucky you...

but last time i heard they wanna eliminate all 512kbps & 1mbps package, make all standard 2mbps (except for special package)

i still can accept the price,
the only problem is: 60GB maximum download per month.

maybe already use to pay RM110 for 1mbps,
so i think RM149 for 5mbps is reasonable..

Why not just boycott Unifi till they decide to make some improvements (either cap- or price-wise)?

If you break your cap, you get throttled to 1mbps (not too bad). If you want full speed, you can request and they charge you per GB.

IPTV is not included in the cap, its on its own separate line.

The sales representative told me that the bandwidth will not be throttled once you go over your cap. Instead, you will be given bandwidth overage charges which means for every GB you go over your limit, you will have to pay an additional fee.

The actual overage charge rate is still unknown.
