damn.I juz bought my vostro 3700(i5) 1 week ago. I did request customization for the backlit keyboard, but the sales person told me that the backlit only offer for high end package which refer to i7.

"we don’t offer option for backlit keyboard for the package you choose. Backlit keyboard only bundle for the high end package."

I feel like I've been cheated.

Yay,finally got mine after 10 days of suffering =P

Ah,so fresh the system.Nothing inside.
Would like to ask, usually, what are the "must have" softwares you guys got going when getting a fresh laptop?
I mean, stuff that I need to get the maximum from this lappy.I've dl GPU-Z(1st time using) for fun, mayb something along that line.

So far,I've only got YM,Itunes,Chrome and flying spaghetti monster(wc3).Mayb OpenOffice later and some engineering software.

before u order the V3700, u can refer to the promotion, if the promotion going to end. then have see urself wanna wait for new promotion or wanna buy it now, it can say u get cheated from Dell. that's call marketing, since demand is high, of coz they make it be like this ler.

Just check my lappy today with CPU-Z and i notice the RAM speed was DDR3 PC3-10700 (667 MHz), which mean my speed was only 667 MHz? i thought it should be 1033 MHz when we purchase this unit? or am i wrong?

sometime its the motherboard itself, my friend bought an acer lappy, it said 1033mhz also, when check only 667 ( same as yours) when he go ask, the guy say the motherboard limited to that frequency doh.gif
