Just ordered a Vostro 3700 last night.
Price ended up at RM2,923.00.Only upgrade I took was changing home basic to premium.

Did not upgrade the warranty to 3 years,was that a bad choice?Any chance I could extend on a later date?I mean,looking around the forum,most of you said the build was tough.So am hoping it'll last a good 4,5 years.

p.s are all the owners satisfied with the units they have after a month or so using it?was contemplating on whether to go with a sxps 16 or the vostro.Going with this instead since the pictures of the unit looks a tad 'tougher'

Uhm,probably would take 2 weeks for my unit to arrive.
In the mean time,trying to get ready for its coming.
Wondering,should I get a cooler for it?
If I should,what type,can anyone recommend please.
Prefer it to be cheap(<rm100),but efficient =P but if the laptop is in need of a better cooler model,I guess I'm willing to stretch my budget

Ah,so fresh the system.Nothing inside.
Would like to ask,usually,what are the "must have" softwares you guys got going when getting a fresh laptop?
I mean,stuff that I need to get the maximum from this lappy.I've dl GPU-Z(1st time using) for fun,mayb something along that line.

So far,I've only got YM,Itunes,Chrome and flying spaghetti monster(wc3).Mayb OpenOffice later and some engineering software.

Tried it with Fable (yeah,old game) on high.Without cooler,gpu reached 83c max(using gpu-z).

I think my unit has already been infested with ants.Anyway to make sure?and if its true,anyway to eliminate them?
