actually the invoice title is meant for company name coz vostro3700 is listed under small business segment. since we buy it for individual use then just fill in our full name.

no, nothing to do with KL or urban areas. All consumer/business deskstops/laptops are made in China
PG one is still open, but i think it's only assembling servers

QUOTE(bladegun @ Apr 28 2010, 05:48 PM)
Just received my Vostro 3400 today morning biggrin.gif. Took 2 weeks to arrive. My spec:

Core i5-430M
4GB RAM
320GB Harddisk
NVIDIA GT310M
14" LCD Silver
Win7 Pro 64-bit

After using it for a few hours, I can feel that the palm/touchpad area is really warm. Aside from this, so far I am quite satisfied with it smile.gif.

One thing about the silver colour, it looks a bit brownish. At first glance, I can't really tell whether it is silver or brown. After I have compared my unit with all 3 colours in the picture on this page: http://www.engadget.com/photos/vostro-3000...nds-on/#2781459, mine looks more like brown than silver, especially in low light condition. Did they shipped a Brass colour unit to me instead??? Anyway, it is ok for me.

Another thing is about the wireless adapter. Dell's website stated that they give 'Wireless Network Card 802.11g for Malaysia only'. But what I got is Dell 1520 Wireless-N Card. I guess they did not update their website to reflect the correct wireless card.

Ok, time to repartition the harddisk and install all the software that I use. A busy evening...

its N card now, they did state it
