I'm in same boat as yours ... booked 2.0 early december and yet no allocation.

In dilemma presently whether willing to wait until the mid-April 2nd batch allocation (delivery end April then?).  rclxub.gif

Hi, does anyone here encounter the situation where your Forte is parked under the hot sun for quite awhile and once you turn on the aircond, it takes a good 20 - 30 mins before the car actually becomes cool?

I have been experiencing this (I just got my car about a week ago) and it only seems to happen when the car is parked under the hot sun (I know you will need some time before the car becomes cool but 20-30 mins?? [and sweating during that time?!]) and the aircond seems to be 'alternating' between hot and cool air.

I'm going to bring this up at the SC but just want to know if anybody had this prob and if so, what seems to be the issue.

exact same problem here. it seems the aircon cannot handle the cooling requirements.

SG
pro: 5 years warranty, no maintenance
cons: dunno, maybe maintenance done by yourself. super hell long waiting list

PPS
pro: 5 years warranty
cons: need maintenance at least once a year (cost roughly about rm100). shorter waiting list than SG.

Nano: Cheapest among all, RM250 only. No waiting list? LOL
cons: 1 year warranty. eh or is it 6 months arr??

decide which one suits your needs.

reset the aircond.
open aircond and blow them with lowest temperature available for 10 mins.
Then shutdown your engine and let it off for 10 mins.

Then start back and test. is the alternating warm and cold still there? if yes, have to check with SC.

What are the differences with SG, PPS and Nano besides the waiting list? i;ve already booked a slot for SG for 6th April. so not too long away. Need to know on the effects of the product itself

mine is ok. maybe is I already apply tint.
my old car without tint, also need about half hr to cool down.
trick to faster cooldown, open your car windows for 1-2 minute while driving. let the hot air go out, then aircon will cool faster.

correcto. if result still the same, check with SC.
this only apply on alternating warm and cold air. got issue one vent blow cold air and another vent blow warm air.
after reset, aircond okay.

its a rare incident. not happen to me. but 2,3 owners so far.
