Guys, o, planing to try XBMC, im a Mediaportal user. so far setup movie and tv series are easy using Moving Picture and Tvseries plugin,  my question is for XBMC how to setup movies easily to download information and fanarts?
*
i'm using xbmc paired with ember media manager. so prefer other media manager, but ember is the best for me (though i still have others installed and using them).

i prefer to store all the info in nfo/fanart/poster files (rather than in internal database) because i sometime format and/or change my system.

Scrape Media -> All Movies/Marked Movies/New Movies (your choice) -> Automatic (force best match)

Suggestion : There is a nvidia combo called ion ( atom cpu + 9400M GPU ) ... dunno if this type of mobo is available here.. best used for HTPC...

The weird config... memory is usually in pair, 2GB or 4GB.. but u hv like 3GB DDR2 ?

Hard disk so small only ? hehe

Putting your center speaker on the floor will not give u optimal sound man. Place it on something that elevates it above the floor. smile.gif

invest a bit in a HDTV bro. hang it on the wall there and dual monitor it to your htpc. watching HD movies on a big LCD TV have much better impact

BTW, may I know which TV capture card are good for HTPC.

Currently I'm using leadtek winfast one.... it's kinda cheap TV card (bought it for about RM140 on last January),
only have FM, Analog TV, Composite and S-video input....

And I have heard that some TV card offered something that called IR-BLASTER. It can control the Astro TV channels through HTPC remote control. It's that true? And can suggest me some good TV card for HTPC...? notworthy.gif
