I actually spotted those 3 dead pixels on the spot, but then was lacked of experience (thought due to the lighting environment) and didn't check properly. I believed the sales person also saw them, just kept his mouth shut.

I think Senheng=normal shop, SenQ=shopping center, more "high-class".

to be fair, My experience is good with Sen Heng. I think its the people you deal with.. i bought my TV from the kajang branch. Dealt with the boss. He was very friendly and service was top notch.

To be honest I didn't have a good impression on sen heng before this. But this new experience made me trust them. Deal with the boss, not the SA, they never give good service.

Personally I have good relationship with SenHeng too. Most of my recent purchase of electronic equipment, such as air-con, TV, washing machine are all purchased from SenHeng or SenQ. My latest purchase of refrigerator was physically replaced 3 times within 2 weeks time without any problem.

If you say that you do not have a problem, may i know why then you had to " physically replaced 3 times within 2 weeks " just to understand better.

for me, i think those Normal price item, you will not see any problem. Those that face problem are those very attractive prices items as I have encountered.

I bought a Samsung 50" C450 from Senheng Tmn Connaught (RM 3400 with plus one) on 1st May (Saturday), the person incharge told me tht I'll be geeting my TV on the following Tuesday - Thursday. waited patiently for the TV to arrive but was later informed by the person in charge that they have yet to receive their stocks from Samsung... I eventually cancell the order on the 10th as I dont feel like waiting further as they cant tell me exactly when I'll be getting it. To cancel and to get my refund, it took them about a month. (the refund was deposit back to my account only on 11th June).

For the refrigerator, it is new but appear to have some dirt (later found out they are some sort of glue) on the small hole near the door. Since I'm not home most of the time, so my wife complaint to them upon delivery and request to have it replaced as it appears used/display set. So it was replaced 3 times and each time has the similar sign and we make sure they are different unit as we mark down the serial number as well, just to be caution.

And finally we are convinced those are just glue as the wrapping and box are unopened and the serial number are different.

I felt sorry for the delivery men as the refrigerator needs two ppl to carry and the same delivery men were helping my wife for 3 rounds... And they even asked if we were ok with the 3rd unit else they would just brought it back for exchange even though they confirmed those refrigerator were physically took out from warehouse Melaka that morning but just for the sake of satisfying my wife... And what I respected the delivery men most was they were sincere when asking if we were sure, and didn't have slightly unhappy nor unpatient even thought it was already 7:30pm...

The last time i remember i went to sen heng to check out LCD tv's, the prices they display were pricy and expensive and the price was the retail price, i mean i thought branch such as this should be cheaper at least? Then when i wanted to check out a TV, the sales person ask me whether i was a member, if i was, i could get a cheaper price, but i need to register for it. I was like WTF? The price i saw at Onking and HLK much so much cheaper even i bought it a member price, so yea say no Sen Heng

Go back to the store, politely ask for the manager; when the manager approaches, fark him upside down loudly (preferably in front of many other potential customer) and demand immediate full refund...

Maybe Seng Heng in smaller towns are better. The one in my hometown is very efficient. Friendly and they know their stuff. If they don't, they find out. And they don't make false promises.

And shouting and misbehaving doesn't get you anything. Making a scene is never encouraged.

really?? i think the one in miri is named SenQ instead of sen heng.. dont know whats the difference as well.. But im satisfied with their lvl of service. the last time i bought a tv from them, they sent n fixed it up the next day.. although im a bit disappointed by the amount of gift i got.. but oh well.. as long as i get the tv in time.. heh.

oh another advise..if u wanna get goods, better ask a girl to follow u
better yet ask her to buy it..
my friend went to buy, they gave her massive discount, tons of freebie.. n they even "borrow" her some
blu-rays to test out.. grrrr ..such exceptional service lol

SenHeng sucks ! They are money minded, non customer oriented and gives fake points which are useless.

I suggest you go to Legend, no fake points but at least cheaper price than SenHeng.
