Add another branch to the list. It's probably more than a coincidence...
Several months back, bought a leading Japanese branded Full HD video cam from the SenQ in KL which should be proficient with handling discerning customers, given its close location to a well-known expat condo residential area in KL.
The purchase was made during a promotion period when the brand was offering a free video cam bag, free spare battery & free photo printer to be bundled with the video cam - as published in the brand's glossy promo catalogues.
At the time of purchase, SenQ said that all these free items would be provided with the video cam, as was shown on their printed invoice/receipt.
It took many phone calls & over a month until the branch said the video cam was in stock at the branch for collection.
However, when i got there, the promised free accessories were not available. So, there is no bag provided to keep-safe & carry around the video cam, no spare battery, no photo printer.
After more phone calls, SenQ said all these free accessories should have been included and will be provided...when they are in stock.
Been over a month...thinking of contacting the brand HQ directly...
