will try to OC once update the the BIOS n bla3...wil do for sure, tis tyme i better stick to max 1.5volt ONLY for air cooling(gedik nk kejar 4Ghz sgt), btw i cant seem to find guides of Phenom II overcloking that relateas HT link Freq/Volt for better OCing, all they talk bout is just CPU volt/ FSb a.k.a HTT n CPU NB only, any guidance?

the only rule would be:
The HT Link has to be equal or lower than the NB frequency at all times due to the design.

and plus.. higher bandwidth is not always faster.. it's all depends on what application that ur running..

for instance why the HT Link should stay 2000mhz is becoz.. sometimes 2400mhz performing worst..
maybe
1-not stable
2-the application not benefit much
3-the hardware combination is not making any sense
4-high temp
5-voltage throttling etc..

u are so wrong!

most of the times it refers to CPU-NB which is IMC in CPU.. (it's not like old day ha)
but some got isolated voltage that refer to the mobo chip itself...
must look carefully where the menu came from..

ya, agree to this. its really need relatively high base clock to reach better overclocking.

yup, but sometimes it depends on how gud is d combo (chi+board+ram). if all are ok, 3.5~3.7GHz is doable w/ some luck. nod.gif
