Wah bro maskedchan, your thick pocket will be robbed by poisoned and boycotted BD by low98944..

Better find extra cash for mid month survival, im sure you got survival plan dy.. btw NEWS !
Sonic and Dolby Streamline TrueHD for Blu-ray

Sonic Solutions and Dolby Laboratories today announced that Sonic Solutions has integrated Dolby's professional Dolby TrueHD audio stream editing tools within Scenarist, Sonic's world-standard authoring system for commercial Blu-ray Disc production. This significantly streamlines production by eliminating up to 90 percent of the effort that was previously required to include the high-definition codec in BD titles.

Sonic included the enhanced Dolby TrueHD authoring capabilities in its version 5.2 of Scenarist released on March 30, 2010.

"Dolby set a standard for motion picture audio quality and continues to be a leader in the entertainment industry," said Rolf Hartley, Senior Vice President and General Manager, Premium Content Group, Sonic Solutions. "Integrating Dolby's stream editing into Scenarist brings benefit to our customers by massively reducing time-to-market in producing Blu-ray Disc titles that feature Dolby TrueHD audio."

Dolby TrueHD is lossless audio technology designed for high-definition entertainment. Dolby TrueHD supports up to eight channels (7.1-channel surround) of 24-bit/96 kHz audio, with expandability to accommodate more channels in the future while retaining compatibility with all Dolby TrueHD decoders. Integrating Dolby TrueHD capabilities into Scenarist will help increase production efficiency by turning an otherwise lengthy procedure into a seamless process.

"As a recognized leader in Blu-ray Disc title production, Sonic Solutions is well positioned to help studios offer all the benefits of Dolby TrueHD to movie lovers worldwide," said Brian Link, Vice President, Business Development, Dolby Laboratories. "Because Sonic Scenarist includes Dolby TrueHD editing tools, it enables studios to more quickly and easily deliver outstanding lossless audio for Blu-ray Disc titles."

Dolby's TrueHD codec has been losing ground of late as the lossless audio codec chosen by major and independent studios, in favor of DTS-HD Master Audio. This streamlining initiative seems to aim at reversing that trend.

If I have the options, I will surely pick DTS-HD Master codec over Dolby TrueHD. Dun know why, maybe it has been planted in my mindset that the former sounds better. I think many do agree with me tongue.gif

I think salary has nothing to do with the service that an individual should provide bro. Its all down to Pos Malaysia to restructure the sort of excellency & service level in all remote area.

Since the blu-ray has not been vanished, its still acceptable.. whistling.gif

Image :
Minority Report's heavily de-saturated style comes through extremely well on Blu-ray. The intentionally grainy appearance is most impressive - as are the rich black levels and wonderful contrast. I, honestly, can't see this looking any better than it does. While I saw this theatrically almost 8 years ago - and my memory is poor - but I was quickly reminded of the film's easily definable image. It all came right back. Whether the intentional visuals are meant to evoke noir, or not, the film should be commended for the bold attempt. This is a strong dual-layered transfer with an atmospheric video bitrate as it shares the entire first Blu-ray disc with nothing else. This transfer seems impeccable - representing the film with pin-point authenticity. Achieving the intended appearance so succinctly I'd have to say this image quality is quite perfect - as perfect as I have seen in a while. It appears to look EXACTLY as the film was meant to. If you aren't keen on the appearance blame the filmmakers not this pristine transfer.

Audio :
The DTS-HD Master 5.1 track at a healthy 3015 kbps certainly doesn't take a backseat to the strong video representation. It's power can surprise you right out of your seat and the abundant effect noises are spread aggressively through your surround system. John Williams' precise score seems a bit formal at times but responds to the Minority Report's kinetic flow crisply via the lossless track. So, it's all good news on the audio front, as well, and there are option subtitles available. My Momitsu has identified it as being a region A-locked disc.

Extras :
The supplements never end and it's great to see so many new extra features interactively accessible. It's impressive and seems like another small step to the future of production information, with the new format's capabilities, being able to swiftly waltz between pieces from Spielberg to Cruise and more. Most impressive is the multi-part The Future According to Steven Spielberg. but I also like the Previz Sequences and future commercials. All interesting and offered in HD. Plus we get all the supplements from the DVD including the Story to Screen, Stunts and lengthy Deconstructing Minority Report. It's probably a bit bloated but the film is the perfect type to establish and foster its strong niche following - thank Philip K. d*** methinks. Only a commentary seems missing but the film is too furiously packed to hinder it's dynamic pace with discussion - plus it's almost 2.5 hours. We applaud the new supplements and it bodes well for future Blu-ray releases. Let's keep on this track!

BOTTOM LINE:
What I liked about this are the 'B' movie elements. I believe this is paramount to being able to accept the film's occasional flaws with underdeveloped characters. It's a high-tech style-over-substance extravaganza. The action is beautifully paced augmenting some tight suspense. This is another example of Blu-ray altering my earlier impressions. I wasn't crazy about Minority Report theatrically nor when I revisited in on DVD - but, perhaps, with diminished expectations - I concentrated more on the film's strengths; a brisk-paced and inventive science-fiction adventure with Cruise's invincible leading-man physicality and justice-seeking everyman charm. It's an imaginative ride and the stacked Blu-ray package is as complete as I've seen in a while.

My area not consider remote. if Pos Laju item sent from W M'sia today, tomorrow sure I can receive.. I do heard they have manpower shortage but WTH.. got a few times letter delivery to my home last 2 weeks. Why the notice to collect the packet didn't come together? Also, previously they suppose to deliver the packet to your door step and not I collect it personally from the post office.

No, this "letter-opener" bundle comes with std amaray casing.

The sticker-book Steelbook™ best-buy exclusive doesn't come with the letter-opener. Just the standalone Steelbook (without even the blu-ray discs). But this version pales in comparison to the FS one, which is imprinted and the words "Lord of The Rings" is embossed onto the Steelbook. I'll snap some pics of both (for comparison) to show u when mine arrives.
