dun think the iphone price can simply lower because iphone war between maxis and digi and it may control by Apple also. Maybe some plan cause the you feel the iphone price is cheaper than before but after you do some calculation that is quite same...but two competitors will try give few hundred offer ... enhanced data plan features...
*
Maxis 16GB:
(1390/24) + 100(call plan)=RM157.9/month

Digi 16GB iDIGI88 call plan:
RM159/month

Maxis 32GB:
(1790/24) + 100(call plan)=RM174.6/month

Digi 32GB iDIGI88 call plan:
RM176/month

Depends on u're making more calls or more sms per month, since digi offering 200 mins of calls but 200 sms. Whereas Maxis giving 333 mins of calls but 100 sms.

Saw some people mentioned the supp line will still be remain and calls/sms between supp and main line will still be free.

However, anyone knows whether the usages between main and supp line will be calculated on the free 200 mins talk time, 200 sms and 20 mms (let say if I am on the 88 plan) ??

No I didn't mean main line share the quota with supp line, I mean if main line call supp line for 30 minutes, does it deduct the 200 mins free talk time ? Or if I sent 200 sms to my supp line, does it consider I've used up all the 200 free sms ?

@ waynerooney. According to them, it is all free. I hope they are right. They mentioned the iDigi plan is just like Digi 50 plan, and can be treated the same.

hmmm~so u can make calls for 200min for free and thereafter it will be charge base on the plan rate. So if ur total usage is below than your iplan value...eg: ivalue 88~ur monthly calls usage only rm50, you still need to pay rm88. Same things goes to maxis.

but i dont get it!!why we must make pre-payment of the bills mad.gif disappointed

The answer is NO, its not shared (same as Maxis). Only the main line uses those items, yr sub line remains at its original price/package. Yr sub line can be transferred to yr iDigi plan at existing rate/package.

Yes, all pre-order and collected these 3 days, gets a yellow case-mate casing + screen protector, and a cd of itunes and stuff, as the pre-order bonus. They call it "Starter Kit".

Remember to ask for them...

QUOTE(lin00b @ Mar 31 2010, 03:39 PM)
comparison

digi88: total cost over 24 months = 3816

maxis100: total cost over 24 months = 3790

however, seeing the items in digi88, it is more reasonable to compare with maxis155

maxis155: total cost over 24 months = 4810

what you get for maxis155 over digi88 = 467minutes/month; call rate at 12sen/minute vs 15sen/minute for digi.

for lite user who seldom call/sms but surf net/use app often, digi is better

idigi 2 .. how much EPP .. did u count?
