hey. to be more specific.. JB can be done anytime on 3GS on 3.1.3 BUT it is only tethered JB.. Mean.. if u restart your 3GS.. It will stuck at boot logo and u need to run the JB process again.. But, good news is. Geohot has found the hole on new iboot on 3GS.. And he will be releasing a UNTETHERED JB soon... What a cheers..

thn package i haf to pay upfront is RM1959.. different RM531 from the RRP bt u haf to tied up the plan for 24 mths.. every mth haf to pay RM138 for 18 mths
if i buy RRP RM2490 n switch to DG50 + supplementary RM30 + RM58 = RM138 (no contract tied n no nt need afraid over use of voice as DG50 + sub RM30 = RM80 is jz enough)

nw my maxis plan is RM50 + RM30 (sub) = RM80 (oso jz nice)

I ordered whitey 16gb. But they will sell you whatever stock they have and not strictly follow ur pre-order, i think.

Maybe you can try to print that email and see. It's suppose to show time and collection date. And you should also receive an SMS asking you to collect.

i think i just direct buy from Maxis with prepaid plan at retail price. but can get 500MB data free each month for 12 months, no contract needed.

The all-in-one monthly fees is inclusive of the monthly fee of the plan?

E.g.
if i choose iDIGI 88 for 3GS 16GB, i have to pay RM159/monthly? or RM159+RM88?

You just have to pay RM159. The RM159 inclu the RM88 already. Unless u use more~

i will not collect my iphone 3gs. wanted to gor fr the 138 plan and pay upfront as i find the package more attractive..

i have 3 goos reason to wait for another 2-3 months..

1. wait for iphone 4

2. wait for price war, (look at bb!! from 1k plus now selling for 548!!!)
or at least wait for them to give better offer during promo because i believe they are testing the water with market's acceptance on the price.
**so dont go collect your pre-ordered phone

3. i still want to wait for n900 and see how good is it compared to iphone (rumours has it tht it can be upgraded from maemo to meego)

digi cs says i can use that pre-order no to collect ANYTIME at 1U.... huh??? also, on Sat all 28 digi centres are supposed to get iphone stock... perhaps i'd wait, or i mayb go to 1U tomorrow to kaypoh a bit...

hmm. ya. just go and try. no harm done. i went there about 2.30pm. still got a lot of stocks, but i'm not sure if they are reserved for other sessions or not, though.

i pre-ordered white 3gs 16gb, they emailed me say can collect on 1/4 at 10-4pm... and i got another reminder email just now also... now thinking whether i should buy or not... not sure if i can buy on behalf of my wife's line...

dun think the iphone price can simply lower because iphone war between maxis and digi and it may control by Apple also. Maybe some plan cause the you feel the iphone price is cheaper than before but after you do some calculation that is quite same...but two competitors will try give few hundred offer ... enhanced data plan features...

very true. it's all just marketing in the end and each telco I believe has stretched to their limits. anymore discounting, an Apple might interefere also. unless Apple gives them the green light, then no prob.

my dad thinking to get one. which package should he take? actually he just want the phone.
