QUOTE(m3lv @ Mar 13 2010, 10:57 PM) I don't think it will be June Ya....I've got some info it will be early April. But don't quote me on this... not sure the info accurate or not.tabs, maggi, You can just ignore your pre-order if you do not want to buy it. The pre-order is just to indicate your interest.. you do not have to buy or pay anything if you don't like the packages. Don't even need to cancel This post has been edited by hsyong: Mar 14 2010, 01:30 PM |

Maybe they are waiting for a lowered price of iPhone 3GS from Apple if iPhone 4.0 is officially launched.
Ordering iPhone now might come in current price and later when the price drop later, Digi will lost a lot of money. So I think Digi would wait for the revised price of iPhone 3GS where Apple usually announce new model of iPhone on June. Rumour says that iPhone 4.0 will come in lowest 32GB, which if they decide to replace the current 3GS 32GB model, it might be as much as RM3000. If they decided that the hardware is much better, then expect something more than RM3000+. Then the hotcake will be iPhone 3GS with quite impressive capabilities even after 4.0 is out. Average users and students would go for a cheaper but still decent performance smartphone which is the iPhone 3GS. I believe Digi is targeting this market with its lower cost broadband plan and rate. If iPhone 3GS 16GB comes in RM1000-RM1500 with contracts, I bet almost everyone could afford one. Just my humble opinion. |

QUOTE(ihawk98 @ Mar 14 2010, 03:57 PM) Apple released the official DiGi carrier settings yesterday via iTunes. So it must be launching fairly soon...me thinks... Yes, the tethering is working flawlessly now on my iPhone on Digi Unlimited line! New menus and internet tethering now supported on officially unlocked iphones with DiGi SIM....woohoo!!!.... For a moment before, I actually considered porting to Maxis just for tethering. But now with Digi supported, it makes no sense to go to Maxis since Digi's package gives unlimited bandwidth (albeit with capped speed if the 3 GB quota is reached) unlike Maxis's 500 MB that charges extra for over-use (comparing similar priced packages for both telcos). hmm,,i had made a pre-order from digi website ,but i not guarantee to buy it ,, ha ha! From digi iphone package,i don`t think is can cheaper much than maxis.actually , after you calculate for each iphone package from Telecommunication Company (maxis or digi) ,u will know that price is almost same as you purchase a new Iphone ...we merely compare how services are digi provided ? fast internet speed ? good customer services...
However ,i support DiGi ~ Cheers |

knowing digi, i'm qutie confident that their plans will be much more attractive than Maxis.
look at their current plan, especially 3G. already much much cheaper than maxis. |
