what about this...audyssey only take around 5-10 minute to calibrate system and i dont know
what audyssey doing just sounding boing...boing... MCACC  25-30 minute to calibrate
your system, it will detect every single speaker that you connected, mcacc know capability of your
speakers include sub .....
so i think MCACC going details than audyssey...one more things  EQ setting for audyssey
manual better then auto....MCACC ..you can enjoy what it calibrated to you without
fine tune.... icon_rolleyes.gif

if you near  by my place Bangi you can come to audition LX performance .....

anyway ...my speaker only cikai one...all polk audio except for sub...jbl 12"... biggrin.gif

All, a healthy debate, indeed! thumbup.gif

Matyeo, Kayroll - Question on PQLS Multi Surround

Do you guys have a PQLS Multi Surround compatible BD player (BDP-LX91/LX52/320) to hook up with your LX82 amps?

Is there a difference with/without PQLS enabled? hmm.gif

PQLS is supposed to resolve or reduce jitter which is an audio improvement.

i'm re-watching some movies and it's a whole new experience for me. Mom is satisfied with the quality smile.gif

Added on May 31, 2010, 2:13 pmserendipity168 has asked me to write out my experience with anfieldude's service so here it is:

anfieldude came with a few bags containing measuring meters. the bag was rather big and i thought it was a projector! he looked at my initial movie setting and thought it was pretty bad... panel noise was evident. fyi my movie setting was based on his astro setting. he re-affirmed again that no one should follow the settings of others as each panel might have slight difference in terms of build. panels will have to be individually calibrated to bring the best out of them. i concur now smile.gif

anyways, he mentioned that my display was the worst he's seen and recommended me to call up pioneer to check out why there's so much panel noise. having said that, he started to setup the equipments and work for about close to 3 hours. after that, the calman report showed that my gray levels, color hues etc was near perfect. my picture has "pop" now... and color was spot on. panel noise was minimized to the point of negligible. black levels improved. he was happy with how the display is now..... i too am happy smile.gif

he even whipped out an SPL meter to gauge my speaker/sub setup... tone down my speaker/sub level and immediately my sub behave like it should... a sealed sub! i'm happy with the results.

at the end of it, i'm a very satisfied customer. fees are very reasonable.

Actually, I am planning a trip down to KL due to a number of request. For those interested, pls drop me a PM so that I can plan ahead and see how many I can accommodate. Might have to make more than 1 trip though.
