netken,
If there are physically 3 HDMI ports (like the 428XG) all 3 ports can be used. U need to enable it in the home menu.
The Ms are just monitors with no tuners and only 2 HDMI inputs. The As have an external tuner and have more inputs.
The M is supposed to calibrate better...however, I have no proof of that.
The A in Asian Region does not have the Pure mode whereas the M does.
thanks AFD - i've tried to check under Home but can't seem to find it ... can anyone help me specifically pls?
Meaning that M are monitors so they just can receive direct input from source like HDMI, and A's are equipped with tuners to tune channels like RTM1, RTM2 from the general antenna?
p/s : i still haven't compare the chris botti live in boston and with friends yet - owe u first ...
and also the calibration tips u gave me last time, i got lost too course some fields were not available in the 508XG ... : ( as below :

Shd be ok. But I recommend moving to Movie mode, Colour Space 2, Colour at +4, Brightness +1. Contrast at around 30. Gamma is more accurate with Movie mode and it is not as bright. Consider calibrating the ISF Modes as u get the higher contrast modes in that mode with 9 point gamma control.
Standard and User are pretty bright/high contrast. Better to use them for Astro. Also would advise for Astro and all, to keep contrast below 20 with User mode. After u pass the 200hrs mark, its more resilient.
