I've got a set of Calman Enhanced Spyder 3 sensor and software package but yet to try it on my KRP500A.
For the moment I've only adjusted the greyscale toning.

QUOTE(logy @ Mar 8 2010, 11:49 PM) this break in, is it like some might say burn in? I ran 100 continuous hours on mine using a set of colour slides. The panel was mighty warm but I reckon it was good for the internal components to soak in.coz if so, mine could take about 2 to 3 month i guess. as per now i watch mine about 3 to 4 hours a nite. But won't be able to tell you the differences between the Calman calibrated Spyder 3 and that of ColorVision since I do not have one to compare with. If memory serves me right there has been extensive discussions about the two on CurtPalme.Btw- please share your thoughts/experience withe the Calman Enhanced Spyder 3 and if possible the difference between Calman over ColorVision's Spyder 3 This post has been edited by CapKapak: Mar 9 2010, 02:51 AM |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ May 8 2010, 05:35 PM) The ISF Modes can only be enable with Controlcal which is a paid software. Also enabling the ISF modes still requires a meter to calibrate to. I got the Calman software and sensor. Just don't have enough documents/info to get started especially the beginning bit in enabling the ISF mode. |

QUOTE(anfieldude @ May 8 2010, 05:43 PM) Cool. Which meter did u buy? Got the Calman with the basic Spyder 2 meter. Didn't want to pay for the EyeOne Pro ha ha.My advise for you would be to start calibration in the Movie mode and start learning the ropes. I can help u if u want. The ISF modes u need to pay for Controlcal. Its not related to Calman. Is it true that the European models already got the ISF enabled? So I'm guessing the Asian versions is quite similar to the NA versions in that they do not have the ISF enabled? Then I read somewhere that I need to purchase the patch to enable ISF modes. Its rather confusing what to do to get ISF modes since there's not a lot of info on the Asian models. The NA models there's abundance of info. |
