QUOTE(shahnaz07 @ Apr 21 2010, 03:00 PM) Hi all I just got my 508xg yesterday...thus i'm totally agree with gocitygo...newbie like me need to know whats need to be done first....like setting, break in, prevent burn in...etc Can somebody advise me? Thanks Honestly, you don't have to do anything or worrying much with your Kuro. Out of the box, tune the pic a lil with your eyes using the basic adjustment and enjoy. Burn in? Not to worry as long as you don't set your contrast too high, I mean really high. Kuro is really great in all aspects.

QUOTE(opjust @ May 5 2010, 01:42 PM) Hmm.. I hv to say I am completely clueless in this area.. what I hv in my mind like.. I want to bought 2 front speakers.. n whatever thing that we need to connect it at first.. and probably upgrade to buy rear speaker if got the budget.. If your budget is low, I recommend you get some used equipment first. A good used 5.1 avr and possibly mix and match 5.1 speakers would be not so expensive. Whatever choice you make, you should not waste your money on HTIB. Most >10 years old branded avrs still sound fantastic.

QUOTE(Alias @ May 5 2010, 03:50 PM) I think for that kind of budget, its possible to get the entry level avr from Onkyo/Yamaha with HD Audio capable. and a pair of good speaker as well, if you know where to find em.. Seriously dude? Cheapest HD-audio capable avr I have seen was around rm1800. What brand are you talking about and where can our friend get it? Anyway, that alone has surpassed his budget of rm1500++. I think if he wants to enter HD HT world, he need a minimum of RM7K. With his budget, he can only go with preowned DD/DTS 5.1 system. This post has been edited by putih: May 6 2010, 11:37 AM
