if u guys the kinda person who ride for style..go for it..
if u are the performance and track person..i suggest go for original size..so far..the original size is the best for cornering..
*
eh.. wanna ask a question... how low do u meant when u said track person... how low can u guys turn with the bike.. so far i turn low also din kena my standard footrest rubber yet.. brows.gif if front i go for 70/80..and rear 90/80.. not stable ar..? hmm.gif cause front low.. rear also low but wider.. hmm... scared if choose this size.. hard to get..? hmm.gif

stability is already got in my bike after i change bigger plate..makes my handle heavier a bit.. some foreman ask me install fork stabiliser cause when i chg bigger plate.. use for long term.. scared my fork can change position.. is this true..? hmm.gif

and i got read about this chain tensioner right.. some other forum ppl said.. use chain tensioner can protect the wear and tear of the chain + sprocket..? like increase the duration of the sprockets.. is this true also..?

cause wat i planned was.. changing to SSS sprockets + chain set and install a chain tensioner... cause SSS is racing set.. durable... but not as durable as normal sets.. is this alright..? hmm.gif

90/80 is good enough for the rear.
Front can use 70/90 with lowered 1" fork.
Absorber front and rear stiffen a bit.

The cornering is like a breeze.

Well, I have just tried 100/80 R and 70/90 F with the above suspension setting this morning at Teluk Bahang. The agility still lacks a bit as rear is heavy. 90/80 should be a perfect match.

Michelin really rox. The last round I use some cap ayam 80/80 Front, can't clip the racing line at all.

and please install fork stabilizer if you wanna play cornering. It helps to stabilize the front wheel contact on the road.

bro saran: can you intro places for 2stroke spare parts?
*
In png, i'm nt really sure of where to get new bike parts at a good price. In case of KL, i can recommend u to many shops. If u looking for used parts (kedai potong) i have found two shops in png area. One is in Padang Serai and another in Simpang Ampat, Bkt.tambun. For 2-stroke bikes these guys have lots of parts esp RX-Z, TZM, KIPS. In case u r looking for parts like original block and carb is hotcake. They will get sold as soon as they are dismantled from the bike. biggrin.gif Recently snapped up a RXZ futrest for my LC icon_rolleyes.gif

shit brand la, i rather go for other brand. y-tec ranks up same as faito...make products a lot , commercialize a lot, make the advertisement look nice. but product is like shit. Y-teq makes more accessories than engine parts

with clutch gearing up is more decent... without also decent but not as decent as clutch..
with clutch.. clutch plate wears off faster and vice versa..
without clutch more user friendly..and vice versa..
if ride for the thrill..then go ahead with clutch..
if ride in busy road and etc..without clutch is an advantage..
just like ur driving ur car..manual or auto.. biggrin.gif
my bike is without clutch..but sometimes.. i just hope got a switch to switch between 2 gearing system... clutch and without clutch...then it'll be super great! biggrin.gif

u'll know everything once u go for a test ride..
good luck in choosing ur bike.. =)

suren86: so, is it the same LC that fell before, and now its handling is a bit weird? Can describe more what you mean by 'the rear is pulling'?

yes bro... that is the one. its like when u are cornering the rear is like puling the other side... something like u taking corners with a flat tyre...

To my knowledge, this means either:
- bent front fork, causing cornering the bike body don't follow correctly in the natural line,
- the rear tire not centered correctly, or bad swingarm bush,
- chain too tight,
- the fall bent the chassis. For the diamond frame of the LC, hopefully this is not the reason.

Check a few things:
- double stand the bike, center the steering and check if the front and rear tire are lined up correctly. Go to the front and the rear of the bike, about 5-6 meters away, squat down and check the line of sight.

- check front fork: go in straight line at about 30-40 km, as long as your comfortable hard braking using front brake, and brake front tyre. when the bike dive down, does the steering try to pull one side? Some bike mechanic can check this while the bike is standstill, pull the brakes, and press on the steering. smile.gif If something wrong, ask for fork service... sometimes may need to restraighten...

- check rear swing arm: double stand bike, and check for any abnormal side movements. I normally punch the tire and pull it sideways with the other hand holding rear seat bar.

- check chain: make sure when you load your rear seat, the chain still have clearance...
