QUOTE(lugiamcg @ Feb 28 2010, 07:54 PM) bros, im having a tight situation here =D this is how it sounds... try to set at MFD and get back yourself until the picture is in focusyesterday, i was trying to shoot some grasses at night( no ambient light at all). The problem i have was autofocus. I know that it doesn't like dark condition. So, i forgives it. But then when i switched to MF, i couldn't get a focus How can i solve the problem without creating a light source? The second problem, when im shooting right into the starry sky, I juz got a few tiny lil' light spots. So tiny that I can barely see it. I was using shutter priority with 30s. Isn't that long shutter speed will capture more light rays from the star to make it as a star? Am i doing it wrong? thx star trail? hehe.. 30 sec is not enough.. i used bulb mode and count myself until 7- 15 min (used the remote shutter) |

kmarc : it depends on your shooting style.. if you go flashless.. 17-50.. or 85 1.4 because 50mm is too short.. (dreaming me)
as my shooting all need flashless... so i got in the wrong way already.. flash for AF assist only.. long time no see IeR... albnok.. nice pics and nice TT.. This post has been edited by nashakir: Mar 1 2010, 06:03 PM |

QUOTE(kmarc @ Mar 1 2010, 06:47 PM) Yeah, 1750 for the f2.8. Better for lowlight and bokehness!!! dont rush.. That's the main thing about the F58. Bulky.... lucky I got my F20 also! Yes sifu. Yeah, I think I can do more with 18250 + F58. 1750 where can grab anytime? So difficult to find a good 2nd hand one..... True true. F58 it is. Going to KL this saturday. Will hunt for a good bargain. some people prefer bokeh, because it is different from pns.. i found it is interesting also.. and even for me.. @ 105mm flash cant do much.. 250mm? hoho |

QUOTE(junior5417 @ Mar 2 2010, 12:38 AM) what flash? build in flash? u can -2 until +2.. +1ev = +1 stop press menu and drop down to flash compens. there u can set + or - fill flash.. normal flash.. the shutter speed is fixed depends on your focal length slow sync the flash will be added to the calculated normal exposure for ambient light (if u use the A mode) rear sync add flash to the rear of exposure of normal exposure of ambient light (if u use the A mode) wireless.. can trigger external flashes hope it helps just play around cjlai : more poison from 85 1.4? haha.. funding mode customer..
