cuz the built in cooler system is sufficient enough to keep the laptop's temperature low smile.gif
thats one of the main purpose of purchasing an alienware product.

Yeah ... notice my lappy is very cool as compared to the many notebooks I have previously owned over the years. In the next couple of years when it's time to renew my lappy, I'll probably go for another Alienware again. Now I need another power adapter to work both @ home & in the office. (Waiting for Dell to quote me) I can't help but to notice the head is probably the same as per the Latitude models ?

I haven't been playing games like you guys ... just happy with playing YouTube on it with no lag. My old machine couldn't handle a lag free video playback on YouTube. With have some games installed over the next few weeks !

Hey guys, i ordered an m11x on the 10th of February and finally after like 2 weeks of 'work in progress' the order status finally changed to 'manufacturing build complete'. EDD says 10th of March. smile.gif

Very excited about it as its gonna be my first laptop and cant wait to start playing all the current games.

Hi regarding negotiating the price for the M11x, how do I go about it? Do I place the order online first and wait for Dell people to call and negotiate, or straight away call the SA and negotiate on the spot before placing the order?

Call the SA direct. But success of the negotiation depends on your skills and luck. Likely for success if you order the upgraded sets and not just the basic sets.

Oh sheesh, I nearly forgot all about the glossy screen. This is gonna be really bad.
Anyone had any problems with the screen? I take my computer outside sometimes and I can't stand it when my World of Warcraft character is blocked by the sun >_<

I also received my m11x this morning..
Overall, it is cool with lightning.. Feeling a bit thick and heavy.. Little gaming machine so cant blame it..

For its screen performance, a bit disappointed as i have a vaio z..
Any adjustment u all make to make the screen not so 'white'?
