to me the worst player was sagna, losing possession, canot track players, pasing all gone wrong.
second worst is bentnar, four attempts and 1 on target. mana arshavin ni? yawn.gif , look at hulk. Got chance take chances and on target"
diaby really helped alot at the back, always see him running back to defend. Really need arshavin back!

Porto posed zero threats and yet 2 goals were conceded . What a waste , it could easilly be 1-0 for Arsenal .

based on the highlights i have seen, the 2 goals we have conceded are at our fault...
too careless to give it easily to the opponent.
enough said, we need to bounce back at the EMIRATES~ rclxm9.gif

It's purely Fabianski fault .

Still , the attacking players could do better . Our forward havent score a goal since the game against Aston Villa . Plenty of chances , just no decent finishing .

Everybody is frustrated with the result, and Luk did really screw up for the first goal. The second one however was a bit dubious. The replays showed that Luk did receive the back pass with his foot before scooping it up so the ref might have got it wrong. What Luk should do is probably stand his ground and insist his innocence and at least delay returning the ball until everybody is in position. I don't think anyone can complain about Porto's quickly taken freekick especially if the ref has already given the go ahead; Titi used to do this all the time. Refs are becoming more and more useless nowadays so we can never depend on them.

that's why i'm saying it's lukasz fault here. he should've plead the case or even throw the ball out and get a yellow. hehehe i think Lehmann might've done that. biggrin.gif

bro saikato,

if Lukasz had the M-A-N factor possibly he would have thrown the ball out and gracefully had the yellow... ngeh ngeh ngeh...

anyway let it be a lesson to him... who knows in future he could be great as other GK but if he did the same mistake again... what can i say... hahaha

hope that AW would change his mind and let Don Vito M-A-N-none be line up meeting with Sunderland at least to shows what he was capable besides Almunia & Lukasz...

Sol was seen hanging his head in frustration when the ref blew his whistle. I wonder, was it "Why oh why did I kick the ball?" or was it "Why the feck did you pick it up dude?".

Anyway, my expectation for the Champions League trophy is low. Especially after we ourselves have shown that we don't have what it takes when coming up against a formidable side. Well, my heart says hell yeah, but my head says maybe not.

1. Sol
2. Nicky
3. Sagna
4. Glichy
5. Fabian

CL title hope is already over. AW better u win the EPL this season, if not better resign for the same sake of fans & BOD.

CL title not over yet la. Like City Lead ManU 2-1, but ManU still managed to overcome them. We have 1 away goal advantage. 1-0 we can qualify ady.

EPL we still have hope. 6 points from chelsea only

Ars still got chance as long Porto dont defend gila2...Arsenal always have trouble to break defence and Wenger will complain teams are not coming out and play....

p/s: there is a saying whenever Sol scores, we end up losing...except once when he scored against Portsmouth from half or quarter field...

Fab said he will leave end of season if Ars dont win any cups...izit true?

I don't know too much about the rules, but more often than not the keeper is allowed to pick up the ball once he has received it with his feet. It is not uncommon for keepers to receive a back pass, wait for the opponent striker to come, and then scoop it up for a throw or a kick if he feels there is danger. It's only illegal if the defender passes directly into the keeper's hands, and frequently indirect freekicks are given.

Again, I could be wrong and am happy to be corrected if so.

The goal should stand unfortunately, as it was scored in a legal manner. Whether the ref got it wrong to begin with doesn't change the fact that Luk was horrible in dealing with the second goal.

Anyway, someone at AM noted a funny trend:
Seaman
Manninger
Lehmann
Manual Almunia

So maybe we'll see Vito Mannone as our new number 1 in the near future? tongue.gif

Quick... go google for keepers which M-A-N in their names....
*
Hmm...I am pretty sure you are not allowed to do that either. As long as it is a back pass using feet, the keeper must not catch the ball. smile.gif

Because he is not getting much games already, out of favour. Sagna is playing RB all the time, while we have so so many midfielders who can play right side...

If considering our squad's current strikers not out injured, we have quite decent amount..RVP, Eduardo, Bendtner. We use 1 striker most of the time also.

All our strikers are not world class. Look at MU, Chelsea & Liverpool. They have wht it takes to score but Arsenal.... hmm.gif

say is easy, who will you recommend to wenger ? if you can recommend, you can apply to become scout for arsenal ...

and football club is like company, sign players base on budget ... not simply sign when the team not perform ...

wenger already got rvp, eduardo, bentdner and vela for striker position ...
