anyway, we won't be having any games this weekend until next mid week vs Porto. Good la... the players need some rest after the gruelling 4 match.

as AW puts it clearly;-

Nobody realises what it is to play Manchester United, Chelsea and Liverpool on the trot. Physically and mentally it is very demanding especially with the two massive disappointments.

hahaha... ok...

anyway, next game MU vs Everton. Mikel Arteta is back for the toffees and Feilani should be back vs. MU. waaaaa... i hope it'll turn out to be a battle royale. biggrin.gif

hopefully Arshavin and Nasri injury not that serious. We need as many players as we can now.

also hoping Wolves will provide some surprises too. wink.gif

somehow i got a feeling FA won't let Fabregas get away wif that coz it's too clearly from the replay... he purposely raised his hand/arm to block the shot which looks very likely to curl into the top corner of the goal... it might just went in IF Fabregas did not blocked it...

but anyhow... he sort of raised his arm before the kick, Fabregas must had premonition... ph34r.gif
*
yep... stevie G must've seen it and try to target the arm. wink.gif aim small.. miss small.. ahahaha

pick this up from soccernet.com in the fans correspondent section :-

QUOTE
Jack Wilshire was exactly as advertised: menacing on the ball, even in his own half, comfortable all over the field and always had enough time on the ball to pick out a pass or jink past his man. Theo Walcott should be very worried.

http://blogs.soccernet.com/boltonwanderers...ck_wilshire.php

having read this, i downloaded the game and true enough, Wilshere did have a good game. hopefully he can stay healthy and get more games. Probably help them stay up.. and yeah, i agree with the writer... walcott should be worried. biggrin.gif

nah.. it's ok.. i'm eyeing for the last game of the season vs Fulham at Emirates. May 9th. fuh fuh... flex.gif flex.gif hopefully we'll be lifting EPL trophy by the end of the game. ahahahahahha tongue.gif

btw.. since there's no game for the 1st team, watch the reserves. We won against Chelsea 2-1 and Sunu looked really impressive. Also, Barazite is back. rclxms.gif

on to Porto preview tomorrow, it's silly to think that AW didn't take this seriously. ECL is a good chance for us this season. Win this and win at Emirates ensure us going to last 8. Porto has been poor this year but they are on a 12 game unbeaten streak. That's something to ponder about. Although they failed to score in their last game, the 4 games before that they've won 3-0, 4-0, 2-0 and draw 2-2. So, their defense is quite good and things have started to come together for them. If i'm AW, i'd be worry about their midfield. They are very physical and very industrious. Also Falcao seems to be on form at the moment.

i watched the 2nd goal and was like WTF? Fabianski should've hold on to the ball until the ref asked for it. That's his error. u already caught the ball.. hold on to it la. haiya...

seriously, GK needs revamp. Fabianski has been a disaster ever since he arrived. 2 years and a lot of important games he cost us. time to cut the loses and invest in someone else.

I'm all for promoting Don Vito to 2nd place behind manny.

Denilson and Nasri, WTF weh?

Sol proves he still got what it takes. eventhough he don't have the pace, but his positioning sense broke down a lot of plays.

arshavin and eduardo.. please come back this weekend. Song too. I don't think we can risk losing anymore points in EPL. Denilson has been a disappointment this season.

ok.. having said that, we are in a good position because of the away goal. it should've been 1-1 had it not been for that stupid goal.

you forget about wallcot? I seriously think this guy know to run only. No skill at all. I rate his as passenger for last nite.

overhype. maybe can challenge usain bolt only.

yep... walcott too. haih.. so many things wrong yet we're still in it with the away goal. a 2-0 in at Emirates will be good enough and i think we can.

but seriously, Denilson... what happened?

Everybody is frustrated with the result, and Luk did really screw up for the first goal. The second one however was a bit dubious. The replays showed that Luk did receive the back pass with his foot before scooping it up so the ref might have got it wrong. What Luk should do is probably stand his ground and insist his innocence and at least delay returning the ball until everybody is in position. I don't think anyone can complain about Porto's quickly taken freekick especially if the ref has already given the go ahead; Titi used to do this all the time. Refs are becoming more and more useless nowadays so we can never depend on them.

that's why i'm saying it's lukasz fault here. he should've plead the case or even throw the ball out and get a yellow. hehehe i think Lehmann might've done that. biggrin.gif
