No battery charge, the slot only used to start the car when running out of battery, check the manual for more information. Battery charging thing is SA simply say only.

not SA, he don't know it. is the service guy in rawang and also service guy in setapak told me that.
he said many don't know about it, if keep charge there not even need to change battery..... they say la... how many % accurate i don't know.
I also realise user manual did not said it is for charging also.

i believe the remote used the standard flat lithium batteries, which CANNOT be charged......

however, should the battery run down, the rfid can still be activated by induction current from the sensor adjacent to the slot.........it works like how your touch and go card is read by close proximity.........same as the spore mrt system........

why don't you all try........remove the battery from the remote, and slot it in hole and see if your car starts.............smile.gif

Emmm .. Changing forte's 215/45 R17 to 205/55 R16 will only increase radius by 1.06%.

http://www.alloywheels.com/tyrecalc.asp

Better ride comfort and less tire noise. But will look less garang .. unless get a garang-looking rim design.

Hmm..me also thinking of changing to 16" rims & tyres for more comfy ride, better NVH & perhaps better pick up + fuel economy. but of course after the 17" rubber going bald wink.gif

Err.... You have to slot in the remote to the car to keep it battery charge. I don't think with the keycase you can slot in
*
Not true, its not gonna charge. There isnt any charging connector on the remote itself...

guys, ghey and gals,
I've tested the headlights.

1) if the headlights or fog lamp is switch on (manually by turning the knob), then when u switch off your engine it will switched off also (once u open the driver's door it will off, before that the icon there still appear)

2) it will only remain ON if you turn the knob manually without starting the engine.
*
Yes I tested it this morning and it got turned off once u open the door (provided the engine got shutdown)

0% accurate. The manual said there is no such thing as battery charging. You better don't send your car to that Rawang service center. If the service guy is stupid enough to believe the battery charging crap, and even told his customer that it's true, I don't want to imagine how he do his repairs.

I would like to reconfirm the tire pressure thingy.

Just go to any electric pump, shell/petronas and select 32psi, pump the tire and it will auto-regulate the pressure to 32psi?

No need to let out the air first right?

bronze is sexy BUT....1 thing. make sure you don't scratch ur car....the color code quite hard to find if wanna do touch up(small small ones)...same goes with all metallic colors..

if choose solid color easier to find..smile.gif
*
No need to worry so much I guess...My previous waja metallic blueish silver got scratch, sent to paint workshop.
The boss damn experienced,he just do colour matching by raw eyes.. mixing the paint colour by looking at my waja ori colour.
Then did the touch-up.
